Also, given that social media makes it easier for them to promote everything they do, it's like they think taking pictures of the cereal they eat in the mornings and posting it is of interest. Sadly, there seem to be people who enjoy that
Fans have been interested in small details for decades, whether it was Jackie Jackson's favorite colour, or who Joni Mitchell was dating. Everyone is trying to figure out the psychology of someone fascinating (and successful).
Oh come on, even the chips, cookies, cereal and how they cut grass on their lawns???

Yes! Unfortunately it sends the wrong message when a display like Nicki's (or Sports Illustrated) is rewarded.
the example she is setting for the young ladies is questionable at best.

She's trying too hard This pic makes me think of H.W.A. (Hoez with Attitude) but clearly she's getting the attention she wanted as it trended on twitter. Here's an article about it:
Nicki Minaj has been teasing fans on Twitter with a special "surprise" since Wednesday. The Barbz certainly got one July 24 when she shared the super sexy cover art for her newest single, "Anaconda." Check it out and let us know when you've picked your jaw back up from the floor:
Yup, there's the Young Money rapper in nothing but a sports bra, Jordans and a g-string. Along with the steamy photo, Minaj wrote that "Anaconda" will be available July 28 on iTunes. The single will be featured on her upcoming album, "The Pink Print," but as of yet the album has no official release date.
.
If the cover art for "Anaconda" is this racy, we can only imagine what the music video will be like. After all, the 31-year-old rocked pasties made out of electrical tape in her "Pills N Potions" video, and Minaj has never been one to disappoint when it comes to being outrageous.

Only jealous people complain/have negative shit to say about stuff like this. There's nothing wrong with the cover. I like it.
Is it me or does it seem these days if a person doesn't like something, they are deemed as jealous or a hater? When did this start? I really don't have an opinion about this, probably because there are millions of people who have implants, tattoos and a strange pose that goes viral on the internet
What I can't figure out is which one is following the other....are the ratchet chicks on Twitter following Nicki's lead or is she following THEIR lead?
I don't stay on twitter long enough to find out.
I'm amazed at how people are so willingly posting humiliating stuff online about themselves. Too much info!
Yeah, some people can get too rachet, but that's social media for you

Yeah, it will be interesting to see what the political landscape will be like in 20 years. Talk about being easy to blackmail someone the night before the election When all the future mayors, governors, etc. are posting a lot of humiliating stuff online in the present moment, they will soon regret it! Either that or it will be so normal to have it all hanging out that nobody will care. Privacy seems to be dying off.

OMG!
while waiting inline at the beauty supply store today, i overheard these two ladies talking about this latest 'anaconda' pix of nicki. one of the lady's said "nicki looked like (puttting the quote nicely,) a female canine caught in the headlights while taking a dump."
wasn't sure if I should laugh or become indignant in Nicki's defense, so I just acted like I did not hear them.

all I can say is: this new single had better be AMAZING,to live up to the hype that this photo has created
-
That's what I've been saying about this..that single better fire because after all this attention and it turns out to be wack... (wamp, wamp, wamp, waaaamp)
-
I heard an alleged snippet of the song on the way home yesterday on the radio. (Extremely poor quality btw) It sounds like they sampled Sir Mix-a-Lot's "Baby Got Back". I heard that they postponed the release of the singlet.
-
However, in this day and time, it could very well be wacksauce but a huge hit anyway if it connects with the kids.....so we'll see (that is if they stick to their guns and release it)

The single was supposed to come out this past monday but it has been pushed back to next monday because instead Minaj's collaboration with Ariana Grande and Jessie J was released yesterday:
