Talent-challenged Nicki Minaj is now resorting to showing her bubble a** to regain her footing on the charts. Wow, I'm very surprised.

She's hoping that showing her ass will camouflage her lack of musical talent, it's the way of today's entertainers.

disbelief Will the ridiculously looking fake booty trend ever end? sad

I doubt it. I was on WorldStar Hip Hop yesterday browsing and damn near every single still shot of a music video had a picture of the same bubble butt. Geez. In the future, we're gonna have 80-year-old women with 30-year-old butts lol smile

Eww, now I've got in my head the pic of an 80 yr old woman with a 30 yr old bubble butt. feeling ill.....It's true though. All of today's young women all look the same, big bubble butt, long weave, over made up face, etc. They even all talk alike, in that damn irritating Kardashian tone! I told my daughter (who's in the same generation) that they all look and sound the same, none of them are original. I'm trying to make her see differently, and that God made everyone unique in their own way, that's why he made us all differently and not the same. I can't wait to see how this will turn out as they start to age.

LOL--sorry that I put that image in your mind wink I'm also sick of the weave crap because there are some famous women, whose names I will not mention, that haven't had their real hair on display in well over a decade! Why are there so many girls who want fake hair? When I watch movies from decades past, it seemed like almost nobody had weaves but now, who has their real hair? LOL

Oh and don't forget to talk about how many of your daughter's generation all get the same tattoos smile

Thank you, exactly! biggrin......I warned my daughter about getting a tattoo, telling her that someday she will regret it, at the time, she insisted that she wouldn't, well needless to say, guess who told me that she now regrets getting a tattoo! disbelief Kids today fail to realize that when someone older that has lived and experienced many of the same things they're experiencing now, is trying to lead them that the right path, and trying to help them avoid all of the mishaps and troubles that they were caused by doing things they now regret, but they refuse to listen! I guess they just have to find out for themselves.

Now I see why I wasn't in the "in crowd" in high school. I didn't drink, do drugs or have tattoos! smile I never had the desire to get a tattoos because I figured it would look weird later in life. When I see pictures of Chris Brown before he had tattoos, it's like he's a different person now, completely.

Nicki has made it cute to be one of these types of chicks but I can't quite pinpoint when it became cool to be ghetto. In some ways, I blame social media.

^^SeventeenDayze, you were right not to get the tattoo, and sooner or later as adults, we all learned that what we viewed as so important in high school, like being a part of the "in" crowd, was really not the big deal that we thought it was back then. I think that tattoos just look tacky, and ruin your looks, and what young people fail to realize is that companies don't want to hire people that have all kinds of tattoo on their body. Even when they try to dress up, it makes them look tacky, especially women in a wedding dress, it so ruins the look.

Yeah, high school comes and goes pretty quickly and the choices made during that time are so critical. I think ages 14-20 are pivotal. If you don't get it together during that window of time, things get much harder later on. Another thing about tattoos is that unless the person can get a really good tattoo artist, it's going to look bad even when it's a fresh tattoo. I used to live in a city where neck and face tattoos were really huge. People were getting large ice cream cone tattoos on their face because of some rapper. The problem is that most of these tattoos looked horrid not just because of placement but because the ink and the design looked super tacky. I was reading a fashion magazine the other day and one of the ads for a very expensive designer showed the arm and hand of a person that was completely covered in tattoos. So apparently this tattoo thing is no longer just the thrill of the middle class folks. LOL. I also hate to see good looking male athletes covered in tattoos. The first time I saw Kevin Durant in a photo of him shirtless showing his tattoos, I was really hurt lol I thought he didn't have any tattoos at all but I was wrong. biggrin

As Buckley said, "Why are either of these skanks still around" Her and Lil Kim are both in their 30s, they should take their money and run, because no one wants to hear a rapper over 40 talking shit about their booty, unless your name is Jay Z.

.

The anaconda refernce is funny, I know she is talking about a snake, but not no South American jungle one, more likely a one eyed trouser one.

Got some kind of love for you, and I don't even know your name

What you wrote here kind of reminds me of how I react when I see ads for the Expendables 3 movie trailers. How are all these men pushing 60 and 70 and their only female co-star is in her 20s? Man, such BS lol But, I plan on seeing the movie anyway because I like a lot of the actors. Go figure!

I hate to break it to you, but trying to make a living as an entertainer is about nothing but attention whoring. Without press, (good of bad) you don't sell records. Not since the 70s, anyway.

Also, given that social media makes it easier for them to promote everything they do, it's like they think taking pictures of the cereal they eat in the mornings and posting it is of interest. Sadly, there seem to be people who enjoy that smile

Fans have been interested in small details for decades, whether it was Jackie Jackson's favorite colour, or who Joni Mitchell was dating. Everyone is trying to figure out the psychology of someone fascinating (and successful).
