Nicki Minaj's attention-whoring "Anaconda" single cover "art"-update video out now

She's trying too hard lol This pic makes me think of H.W.A. (Hoez with Attitude) but clearly she's getting the attention she wanted as it trended on twitter. Here's an article about it:

.

.

Here's one way to get your new single trending on Twitter.

Nicki Minaj has been teasing fans on Twitter with a special "surprise" since Wednesday. The Barbz certainly got one July 24 when she shared the super sexy cover art for her newest single, "Anaconda." Check it out and let us know when you've picked your jaw back up from the floor:

.

[img:$uid]http://assets-s3.usmagazine.com/uploads/assets/articles/75688-nicki-minaj-bares-butt-in-g-string-thong-on-anaconda-single-cover/1406215764_nicki-minaj-anaconda-album-467.jpg[/img:$uid]

.

Yup, there's the Young Money rapper in nothing but a sports bra, Jordans and a g-string. Along with the steamy photo, Minaj wrote that "Anaconda" will be available July 28 on iTunes. The single will be featured on her upcoming album, "The Pink Print," but as of yet the album has no official release date.

.

If the cover art for "Anaconda" is this racy, we can only imagine what the music video will be like. After all, the 31-year-old rocked pasties made out of electrical tape in her "Pills N Potions" video, and Minaj has never been one to disappoint when it comes to being outrageous.

Yeah this will push this single that no one cares about, useless, talk about "album and single art" in a time when the art is a little square on your ipods or whatever. Also can she get any whiter? Totally a carbon copy of Lil Kim in a few years im sure she will get a new face.

I really wouldn't call this attention whoring. Every pop star and their mama does that type of pose nowadays lol Showing skin and all... pretty sure it's just the norm now.

Didn't she already have an album cover like this? This isn't anything new from her is it? So, why all the "outrage" now? smile

I doubt it. I was on WorldStar Hip Hop yesterday browsing and damn near every single still shot of a music video had a picture of the same bubble butt. Geez. In the future, we're gonna have 80-year-old women with 30-year-old butts lol smile

lol Yep, looks like we're headed that way. Unless there's a horrible side affect waiting to happen as a result of the shots or implants or however its done...I don't see an end in sight to the trend. A big round succulent ass ain't never going out of style soon. Now that, "curves are cool", you can forget it.

What I don't understand is that the more "normal" this mess gets, people are still shocked by it. It's almost like everyone is trying hard to shock everyone else but being shocking is the new normal biggrin

Yeah, especially when Nicki already did this pose back in her mixtape days. Except she was facing forward just like Lil Kim's notorious pic from, "Hard Core". Nicki seems intimidated by all the attention the white Australian girl with the fake booty and the biggest song of the summer. Not saying this isn't like her, because she's been here and done that before. However, she sure seems bothered by T.I.'s crossover money lol

-

Oh and it's all in the name of "Hip Hop" right Nicki? Riiiight wink

Sometimes I wonder if these hip hop beefs on Twitter are all orchestrated for publicity smile I guess when Nicki blew up (circa 2010-ish), there weren't really any so-called mainstream female hip-hop artists. I think by the time Nicki's second album dropped, she was well within mainstream hip-hop or pop music, etc. So, it did seem a bit out of place that Nicki was trying to act as if she never went the pop route. The pink wigs, duck faces and strange makeup I think alienated some of her base and that was a career killer.

We'll see if that was career killer or not. Those young girls that she had wrapped around her finger were quite fond of her. I know she's trying to tone down the animated version of herself with this one. We'll see....Has anybody heard the song yet? It does come back to the music.... At least for me.

That's the whole problem. There's so much on focus on the image that nobody's paying attention to the music. I think Nicki has always been kind of a puppet/tool of the industry so when they say jump, she's already in the air. Maybe Young Money pushed her too much into being a caricacture of herself that it might be strange for some fans to see her as the "lil Kim" type rapper again.

My only other question is....how often do you have to inflate your butt? Every 3 months or 3,000 miles, whichever comes first? lol

I've seen pictures of her before all of the surgery and there was nothing "wrong" with her so to speak. I have always wondered if record execs pressure these female rappers to get all this crazy surgery and whatnot. Meanwhile, where are Lil Wayne's beauty treatments? And please don't get me started on Rick Ross lol lol

Chriss---this poster is what changed the rap game for females permanently. All of the acts before her like MC Lyle, Queen Latifah and Salt n' Peppa didn't show an ounce of skin.... 8-)My how times have changed! Lil Kim was the gas on fire but Nicki and especially Iggy are putting the fire out... rolleyes

I have seen some strippers who were a little beyond their best years, and you could see they had liposuction when they were young and got fat around it. It looked like they had been lying in the road and got run over by one wheel of a truck. I wonder what these big butt implant people are gonna look like when they start sagging.
