Right! Bruno has lots of personality! He is not boring by any means!

lol lol lol

I read online last night, NK that Pharrell won't be doing the rest of the tour with Bruno. Do you know why? And thanks for those gifs smile Do you know if Bruno has ever worked with Maxwell before or if Maxwell has ever commented about Bruno?

Yeah I read about Pharrell dropping out of the tour last week. I have no idea why he did—his publicist saying that he was unable to continue due to a “personal conflict.” confused Oh well, it was only for a select number of dates, but some folks who already bought tickets to those shows are upset with Pharrell for dropping out because they really wanted to see him too. Oh well its his loss and a win for the other artists who will be opening in his place.

And as far as I know Maxwell and Bruno have never worked together. Havent seen any comments on him by Maxwell either.

lol lol lol

I saw on Instagram last night that Bruno had a special guest at his Montreal show who was sitting up in the VIP section but didn't perform...Justin Timberlake lol lol I guess he's taking notes, "Swagga Jackin' Bruno Mars in 3 Easy Steps" cool

I saw something last night on Maxwell's instagram that looked like it was posted a few months ago where he mentioned Bruno. It would be great to see them collaborate but then thousands of women would walk away from the show pregnant all at once smile wink

Mike Love: 'The Beach Boys' Would Enjoy Working With Phenom Bruno Mars

Singer Mike Love of "The Beach Boys" said in an interview with Efethat the legendary Southern California rock group keeps up with the changing times and would love to work with a current phenomenon like Bruno Mars though they're triple his age.

Vocalist Love, the main support and only founding member permanently performing with the legendary band, spoke with Efe ahead of The Beach Boys' concert on Monday at the MadGarden Festival in Madrid and on Wednesday at the Starlite Festival in the southern Spanish resort city of Marbella, a place more akin to the beach environment that so inspired them.

"Mars is a great vocalist and dancer, he has those old-school influences that I think are so great," Love said, adding that he compares him to James Brown and that he was impressed by the Hawaiian's performance at the 2012 Grammy Awards where, on their 50th anniversary, The Beach Boys reappeared with their classical lineup.

They had wrapped up their European tour that began that year in the central Spanish city of Avila and brought together once more Love, his cousin and the group's lead composer Brian Wilson, Al Jardine, David Marks and Bruce Johnston.

Love, who returns to Spain accompanied only by Johnston, said that between him and Brian Wilson, eldest of the Wilson brothers, "there are no problems."

"(Brian) and I are pretty much out of touch, but it's great when we see each other because we shared so many things, like co-creating such songs as 'Good Vibrations,' 'Help Me Rhonda,' 'I Get Around' and 'Surfin' USA,'" Love said, referring perhaps in a not very subtle way to the court ruling years ago that finally acknowledged him to be co-author of all those all-time hits.

http://latino.foxnews.com...runo-mars/

Somehow I missed this posting but this was cool that the Beach Boys gave props to Bruno. I think their comparison of Bruno to JB was accurate. I remember being completely shocked at the SB performance because I had never seen anyone imitate JB with such perfection like that before! When Prince does JB, he still adds a lot of Prince to it (which we love) but I had never in my life seen anyone copy JB's moves so well. You know you're a badass performer when you've got 75-year-old legends like the Beach Boys and 12-year-old kids who go crazy over you! What a gem of a singer Bruno is!

Speaking of Pharrell and Bruno....I found this on another messageboard...

chair @ Pharrell. So he said this in 2011 while sitting next to Tyler the Creator who once made a comment about wanting to stab Bruno Mars...

And this is what Bruno tweeted to Pharrell in March:

Bruno always a class act thumbs up!

But this was Pharrell a couple of months ago on stage with Bruno at the Hollywood Bowl. Check out the top right pic of him bowing down to Bruno

Punk. lol Bruno doesnt need him as his opening act anyways and Aloe Blacc is a fine performer and put on a great opening show.

Oh man, I love Pharrell and Bruno both but looks like Skateboard P had a big ass slice of humble pie at MSG a few days ago to be the opening act for Bruno. Talk about turn about a fair play! LOL!

So in all the watching of Bruno's older performances online since I first became a fan early last year, I dont know how I manage to miss this GEM of a performance!

Bruno singing Katy Perry's "California Gurls". Every now and then I see some of the fans requesting if anyone has video footage of his performance. I always thought it was just Bruno joking around singing this pop song from Katy Perry. Well I finally watched it the other day and all I can say is....OMG! I had no idea how BRILLIANT his rendition of her song was! I've been sleeping on checking it out all this time...and now I see why fans are requesting about it. It is very hard to find this online. Its on Youtube but audio has been muted mad

Bruno turns this cutesy little pop song into a beautiful soulful ballad--its quite amazing imho touched It's stuff like this that again reminds me of how super talented this guy is and again shows me his potential--the sky is really the limit with him! This is one of the reasons why I became a fan, because he's got such great musicality and has the ear, creativity, and talent to create a fresh new song out of already recorded material.

This was recorded in early 2011, not too long after he released his first album. If I had seen this performance back then, I probably would have become a fan because you can just tell this guy has what it takes to become something great.

So here it is: Bruno Mars singing California Gurls at BBC Radio back in January 2011

Lol that's funny that it would somewhat resemble Prince's perfume he released some years ago. But I would be surprised if this were Bruno's idea as I thought the whole "singer with their own perfume line" wasnt his type of thing-that he's moreso into creating music and his craft than anything but there is no harm in him having his own line of perfume if that's a direction he's interested in pursuing. Idk how much he had to do with the design or picking out the colors for this tho--seems more like this concept was more the designer's idea wink

It's not taking them long to market Bruno as the panty dropper that he truly is biggrin You're right, he probably has a team of people who came up with this concept and Bruno probably got the last word on it lol Cool pic of him and the trombonist guy.....btw, I'm too lazy to Google this but there's a famous gospel singer whose last name is Whalum. Not a very common name, so I wonder if these two guys are related.

I know exactly who you are talking about, Kirk Whalum! He's a gospel jazz saxophonist

I have this CD and some others, he's great! I figured he and Kameron must be related some kind of way since they both share the same name and play horn instruments. lol I think Kam did say they were related but I cant remember how, I think he's an uncle or cousin or something...

Kameron Whalum (Bruno's trombonist):

Yeah "Killa Kam" as they call him is a looker too--I think he's the 2nd most desired guy in the band after Bruno. I see online comments from females drooling after him too lol
