Sting, Morrissey or Bono?

Who's a better singer in your opinion?

Moz is as cute as a button in that pic, but best vocalist probably Sting.

Sting then Bono and Morrissey brings up a weak third.

This is the order in which I like the three artists, but not necessarily how I'd rank them as singers.

Sting, though Moz and Bono are great vocalists too.

Morrissey by leaps and bounds! Not only because I love his voice, but also because I loathe the other 2!

If you will, so will I

Morrissey is freaking hilarious. The other two are only unintentionally hiliarious.

I'd think Bono has better range than Sting but I don't know enough about Morrissey to make that call.

None of them are very good singers, IMO. So if I rank Bono first, that surely doesn't mean I think he can sing well.

Bono is, IMO, far ahead of the other two when it comes to performing. Sting used to be pretty good.

I'm always afraid any Morrissey performance is going to end in someone's suicide.

^No Moz's shows always end either before they begin or after 2 songs when he gets pissed off and walks off stage.

I think Sting & Bono are actually pretty good singers. They have decent range, and can have a lot of emotion when they sing.

Morrisey has a very blah voice too me... but i still like him.

These are just my opinions those smile some might not like their voices at all. If i had to pick... i'd say Sting is the better singer of the 3.

I saw some videos of The Police in 06. And then of sting & his symphony from a few years ago. For a man so fit, he sure doesn't move a lot. Back in the 80's he seemed to have tons of energy and an incredible stage presence! nowadays... confused

I saw The Police in Dallas in 1983 or so. After the concert, Sting and Stewart Copeland got in a fistfight just offstage. I was sitting almost at the side of the stage and saw it go down.

Well, maybe "go down" isn't the right term. They threw windmill punches at each other and moved a lot of air for about 5 seconds, and then security stepped in. I couldn't believe what I'd seen, LOL.

I'd be funnier to see Morrissey and Marr get in a fight lol

....genuinely expected the question to be who's the biggest tosser?

Obviously Bono, just short heading it from Sting, narrowly edging out Morrisey...but you could never really tire of slapping any of them!!! lol

I'm not sure who's a 'better' singer, but I know who has more emotion, warmth and humanity to his voice...so I'd take Morrissey's "Dear God, Please Help Me" above anything that either Bono or Sting have yelped up in recent years wink

None of the above.

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
