I mean, how many reissues of these albums are we going to get? Meanwhile, looks like Geffen MAY reissue her titles piecemeal, if we are lucky.mad I hate Universal recycling the same shit over and over again. Meanwhile, there are lots of other Universal titles that haven't been reissued on CD in decades or not at all! mad How about a Complete Albums Collection by Rick James or The Commodores???

Unless these CDs are remastered with bonus tracks,I won't be buying it.Most fans already have all of her albums. They need to do something really special with this set,in order to make us buy em' again.

That's what I'm saying! lol They need to stop recycling the same stuff and release something that hasn't already been released.I would love a Complete Albums Collection by The Commodores! And a Rick James set is long overdue, too. What the heck are they waiting for??

Donna Summer "She Works Hard For The Money" Remastered in High-Def

^ the title song is great but otherwise I never liked this album, sorry..

what about re-release THIS to 180 grams vinyl??

Donna Summer's album simply titled "Donna Summer", (1982) is much much better. Produced by Quincy Jones.

That album is her best 80's-album, imho... music heart

I agree, the Donna Summer album is GREAT! It's my favorite Donna album of the 80s,too

And it could be an interesting reissue because,we all know that when Quincy Jones produces an album, there are numerous songs that are recorded.I bet there are a ton of outtakes from this album! I'd love to see him and Donna's estate collaborate on this project, and find some of those rejected tunes.

hmmm To me,this album is a mixed bag. There are a few really good tunes ("Unconditional Love","Love Has A Mind Of It's Own",the title track) but there are a few songs that are mediocre and sorta bland ("Woman","People,People","Stop,Look,Listen").

Yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing "Donna Summer" as a CD reissue. I generally don't like straight reissues because they are not offerring any bonus tracks but if the sound is an improvement over the original pressing, I may buy a straight reissue if I think it's a superior enough album. I have all of Donna's 80's output on CD. Some of the discs were mastered at a low volume, especially "Cats Without Claws". I don't know if I would necessarily repurchase that particular title because the only song I love on that one is "Supernatural Love". But, I think I will repurchase "She Works Hard" and "Donna Summer" if they decide to reissue that one.

Cats Without Claws is a disaster. It's a very strange, unfocused album. It's hard to know exactly what Donna was trying to do.A few songs are good ("I'm Free" is my favorite song on the album) but it's a weak album overall. It also lacks a strong, potential single, which is why it flopped so hard.

I think this song is a vapid, generic track. And she didn't do herself any favors with the ridiculous music video lol

here's an album that I wish they would reissue/remaster.....produced by Bernadette Cooper, this 1987 album is bold, edgy and extremely funky.
