Brown’s lawyers have requested a waiver of appearance for him for the February court date, citing the singer’s current enrollment in rehab for anger management. To appear in court would cause Brown to miss up to three days of treatment, his lawyers argued, delaying his completion of the program.

Brown faces 180 days in jail and a fine of up to $1,000 if convicted in Washington, but the singer’s real legal troubles are in California. Brown has been on probation for charges stemming from 2009, when he brutally attacked his then-girlfriend Rihanna.

A judge in California recently revoked Brown’s probation, but since Brown was already in a treatment program for anger management and completing his community service requirements, it had limited immediate effect.

The prosecutor revealed in court they had offered Brown a deal — reducing the charge to simple assault (he currently faces misdemeanor assault which carries a more severe penalty), but Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos — who was also in court — rejected it … and we think we know why.

Law enforcement sources tell us … they had combed the area looking for surveillance video capturing the run-in. For a long, long time they said they had nothing. Now they seem to be singing a different tune, but haven’t turned the video over to Geragos.

Geragos — who believes his client did nothing wrong — is eager to see the video before cutting any kind of deal.

Yes God! I haven't seen him look this good in some time now. He actually looks normal and healthy. Hope he keeps it up.

I think his career is over

He has become the black,male version of Lindsay Lohan....in and out of courtrooms,jails and rehab centers.The music has become secondary.

He either needs to get his shit together or cash out at this point, he has been given alot of chances YES he has, reduced charges, this and that. Regardless of the issue he needs to shut up first of all, everytime he speaks he digs his own grave, stop trying to be a "thug" cause you ain't, dudes on the street laugh their asses off at him, same with Lil Wayne. Forget your career at this point, forget music and get yourself together, sorry folks a few weeks in rehab and a nice suit and clean look doesnt take alot, he was in court pretty much on his last leg and honestly he probably cant even get people to represent him at this point, Geragos is well known but also has lost tons of cases, wasnt he defending Scot Peterson the dude who killed his wife then when on vacation?

I hope the video shows everything, so he can begin the proper treatment.

That's what i was thinking.

I know crack, coke and (or) meth heads when i see them and by the way Chris has looked in the past, dude was(is)on something(other than Herbals)...

That or he is a non medicated schizophrenic or has a depressive disorder(symptoms-gaunt, mood swings, crazy look in eyes, etc).

He looks good in those pictures though.
