Brand X, Be Bop Deluxe, Lucifer's Friend and Roxy Music
Be Bop Deluxe-No Trains To Heaven(Axe Victim-1974)
Lucifer's Friend is a German hard rock/ Prog Rock band that in the 70's and 80's, released a number of albums. Their first album sounds like it could have been written by Black Sabbath, but their latter albums have a more progressive rock feel. I'm not sure if they were an occult band or not but either way, they did release some pretty cool albums.
Roxy Music-Bitter Sweet(Country Life-1974)

My first girlfriend thought Be Bop Deluxe was the greatest band ever. I've been meaning to explore their music. Thanks for posting that and jogging my memory! | |

As far as Be Bop. Their music reminds me of bands like T Rex, David Bowie, New York Dolls, Roxy Music, Alice Cooper and to a lesser extent the Beatles. The sound of those bands plus a little punk and New Wave mixed in. Their sound kind of changed a little from album to album. One album might be a little more glam-art rock and the other might be more "Rockin". And another might have more of a New Wave influence.
