These days, fake is the new "reality".

Didnt Sean use to knock her about a bit? I'm sure there were photos back in the day of Madge with a shiner. IF that's true, why the hell would you go back to that?

Me, too! I love Pat Leonard's older work with her, but I think when artists go back to old producers they've been apart from awhile it's never as good as their previous work together. It's hard to recapture that. Love Daft Punk's record.

Hard Candy was straight shit pooptoast

MDNA was an improvement, and I like it a lot, but only about a third of the tracks are long-term keepers. Hard candy had, like, 2.

Seriously dude?? None of those?!

U cray cray

Add incredible and She's Not Me dancing jig

Im sorry folks, but after Madonna, Hard Candy is my second favorite album by her...then Like A Prayer, Erotica...

MDNA was lackluster imo. Lack of strong choruses etc...

Album plays and love for vinyl records.

"I'm Addicted" is the most explosive dance track she's done in years. This song is FIRE!

Best tune on MDNA.....should or could have been on Confessions right after Jump... dancing jig Sounds just as good as Get Together

Really? you wouldnt remove I Love New York?

Not only would i remove it, I would delete all copies, format the hard drive it was recorded onto, then burn down the recording studio that made that trash.

Madonna recording a new album to be released later this year

New Madonna album

According to The Guardian: "U2, Adele, Madonna, Rihanna and One Direction are due to release albums in 2014"

There's also this thread on ATRL, they don't know more than we do but I like the look of if: Madonna Recorded 8 Songs for 2014 Album Release"

Work is progressing on Madonna’s next studio album, although details are scant at deadline. In 2007, Live Nation signed the superstar to a 10-year deal reportedly worth $100 million that includes new studio albums, touring, merchandising, fan club/website, DVD’s, music-related television and film projects and associated sponsorship agreements. This portion of the commitment is being valued at $40 million. The Universal Music Group-owned label will release three albums by the Material Girl. After MDNA, Madonna owes Live Nation 2 more Albums and 2 Tours until the end of 2017.

2014. Is mine! Bring It!

In 2013 during an “Ask Me Anything” – Reddit session as for a new album in 2014, the singer had this to say: “There might be…my creative juices are flowing…“. Madonna said that she would ‘love’ to work with Daft Punk, adding: “Just waiting for them to return my call”.

Queen of Pop also confirmed that she has considered making an album of acoustic or orchestral reworkings of her favourite songs from her back catalogue and said she would never make a full-on rock album.

According to a source (mediamass), rumors of Madonna working in recording studio are true, with as many as eight songs having been put to tape. “It’s still in the early stages,” “She’s got security on the doors to ensure no-one hears a whisper,” a source said.

Stay tuned for more details.

I think it will be a combination of producers, and I hope Patrick Leonard, Daft Punk, Nile Rodgers are all in the mix. I think a sorta retro-pop/dance style record would suit her very well at this stage.

I can see it easily, even roughly spaced like this:

2014-album

2015-tour

2016-album

2017-tour

Waay too close to each other. if that article is correct and she does owe two tours/abums by 2017, Im sure Live Nation would be more than willing to extend any deadlines set out in the contract.

They must be happy with the amount of $ that M brings in when she tours and would jepordize that income..

And to think, some of us thought CT would be her last! lol I went to the last two CT shows in Tokyo (I was living in Japan). There were a few other "westerners" there who travelled a long ways to those shows because they suspected/feared it would be her last tour!

Its so baffling. I mean even MJ toured here on every tour except dangerous. U2 are just as big and they always tour here.

I think we pissed her off or she didnt enjoy her time here...its all too suspect...
