That thread, Timmy's new music thread and my 100 songs 2012 (where Timmy mentioned he couldn't really get down with it because of loading time) all existing at the same time made me think we needed to try it a different way. ALL electronic music released before the year 2000. We would have got around to some more early stuff eventually, we were just taking a different path for a while. There's a lot of them to explore.

I recognize the importance and influence of Kraftwerk - it's undeniable, actually. But I've never enjoyed their music. Can't explain it. Just don't dig it.

Never really cared for Tangerine Dream all that much, either, but this remix is the shit!
