But just interms of music id choose Alicia....look don't get me wrong India is talanted and I do have her cds but she makes a brand of music that I consider boring ...I would put India in the same category of snoozefests Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson....just boring pointless organic music which I would probably not care much about.....I like some excitement in my music...some funky guitars, some keys, some hooks and sheee....

I prefer India's music to Alicia's. It's more personal and coming from the heart to me.

Thats why I dig her.

India! She's a better singer. Alicia, on the other hand, is a production force 2b reckoned with and not a very good singer. India's deep and profoundly poetic and I like that.

I listen to Erykah as well and in my opinion Erykah is of course better but the comparision was between ALICIA and India and between those two India is light years better but to each is own and Im not a dude Whether India was or wasnt afraid of who she was, shaved her legs or not..
