New Lisa Marie Presley Song: You A'int Seen Nothing Yet

LMP

For fans of solo female artists with strong voices, times are booming.

There’s Adele, of course, still commanding the charts; Norah Jones, set to release her Dangermouse-assisted new album in less than a month; and Fiona Apple, whose overdue comeback is prowling just around the corner.

Now, add Lisa Marie Presley to the mix. After a five-year absence, the scion of a legendary pop legacy is about to unleash the T Bone Burnett-produced Storm and Grace.

“When songs from Lisa Marie Presley showed up at my door, I was curious,” Burnett says of working on the record. “I wondered what the daughter of an American revolutionary music artist had to say.”

“What I heard was honest, raw, unaffected, and soulful,” he continued. “I thought her father would be proud of her.”

The album doesn’t hit shelves until May 15, but you can listen to the smoky, spooky lead single “You Ain’t Seen Nothing Yet” exclusively here:

Can't decide if I like it or not. She does have her style though.

"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

I've said this before, and I'll say it again - she's got more talent than people think. Actually she's pretty good lyrically, a pretty strong songwriter.

And on a purely shallow aside - that pic in the OP does her no justice. I've always thought she was hot.

The song was nice, tho this pic has a certain J-Lo vibe to it.

Not a big LMP fan or anything, but this is a nice song. I really like it. I'm not sure if I like it as much as "Lights Out" yet but this is a nice surprise.

"And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ heart

"Baby, that was much too fast"...Goodnight dear sweet Prince. I'll love you always heart

Sounds good. My wife has her first two albums and I always loved the song S.O.B. from her first record.

Hm, I've never liked the song LIghts Out that much. Surprised to see so many fans of this song.

I was 'kind of...' expecting..... --- something. She only channeled Sheryl Crow though...

Makes me think of this song by Sheryl

Sheryl Crow - A Change Would Do You Good

Lisa Marie Presley - You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet

I always kinda wondered why she didn't do a country album...
