Oh, oh, I wanna go! 50% because I genuinely looove at least 70% of Jacksons/Jackson5 catalog and ok the other 50% of the reason is because I feel like this is probably the closest thing I'll ever get to MJ's concert...I know that's kind of a pathetic reason to go to someone's concert but whatever! Most people around me who "love" MJ only know his music from OTW to Invincible...I'd love to be surrounded by people who followed his career from the very beginning...u know, the ones who actually know the lyrics to every single song on Dancing Machine album!!!!

hmm I don't know about that...didn't they get together for that Hurricane Katrina relief project? I think last time MJ discussed the potential reunion was @ Geraldo interview...I think. I mean even if the other brothers wanted to do reunion show MJ probably was too focused on his own project and I'm sure he was the one calling the shots...

They obviously wanted to tour before. But with Michael alive, a Jacksons reunion without him doesn't make sense, see their '89 reunion. So the only course for them was to hold out until Michael might agree to tour with them. Now with Michael gone it's obviously now or never. I still think it's a shame that they never got to do a real reunion.

I can't find any other stories on the internet. Probably because nobody cares about the rest of The Jacksons. People may hate to hear it, but it's the truth. The only way this tour could be a big success is if they promoted it as a MJ tribute tour. None of the other brothers have been popular in decades.

It don't really have a connection with either Michael or Janet. It's just the brothers. I guess that's why.

But from the way some in the family play up to the media and give them what they want, you would think they would be more "in" with the media.

With or without MJ, there should be more respect for them than this, IMO.

They're not a rock group like The Who or Pink Floyd. Veteran R&B acts generally don't get a lot of press. How much publicity does Maze, The Time/O7, or Charlie Wilson get? Kool & The Gang are only getting written about because they're with Van Halen. At most, old acts might get a Sinbad or Tom Joyner cruise, which doesn't get mainstream recognition.

They shouldn't promote it as an MJ tribute tour! Jermaine already attempted that and failed. They should do exactly what they are doing and promote it as a JACKSONS tour and play small venues. That is the only way this thing will work--provided they can all work together as a group!

1.) They're more linked to R&B music. R&B don't get much press like pop-rock acts.

2.) They hadn't performed together in 22 years save for the reunion with Michael during the 2001 anniversary shows.

3.) They're not Michael or Janet.

Now, who's going for the front row seats? The prices are $150, $65, and $45.

I think the $65 tickets are reasonable...folks aint tryna spend $150. Besides, we can always move up, lol. For $150, I'mma need them to throw in another act, just sayin...

They mentioned it on 95.5 WPGC this morning, a pop station. I'm not sure if they was trying to be funny, but the DJ, Free, said, "you can hear Jermiane sing Do What You Do" LOL They were taking callers who wanted tickets.

yeah you're right besides there's already an official MJ tribute tour that the estate endorsed which is the Cirque Michael Jackson Immortal and is already a massive success and grossed $200 million in ticket sales and been the #1 touring act in North America since its debut in OCT 2011

I was just saying that promoting it as an MJ tribute tour is the only way it'd make the news and get tons of people to want to go..

I dont blame them but more with Janet she seems to only think about herself. She tends to stay out of the family things or anything that reunites everyone.

I could understand Randy not wanting to be apart of it soon after MJ passed but right now I dont see anything wrong with them all touring together.

I think a lot of that is exaggerated for the cameras, and edited that way. The network is not going to show a program that has everybody happy and jumping around like Gidget. The audience today would think that is boring, unfortunately. They want a lot of mess to gossip about like The Jerry Springer Show.
