I saw it a few times in the past. This was during the photo shoot for the Whitney album if I'm not mistaken.

I think I had seen spirits as a child whenever I "felt" something. My mother told me once that I came to her and dad and asked "did someone in my family die?" And they were like "no we didn't". I went back outside and then a few minutes later, the phone rang saying my paternal grandmother had died. I still don't know how that occurred but maybe that's what Cissy was feeling. It's interesting to note that Cissy was depressed two months BEFORE Whitney's death. confused

I had something similar happen when I was a child. I was outside playing and something made me come in and tell my grandparents that we should go see my great-grandfather that day. Later, in the afternoon, we got a call he'd passed away. sad

Yeah Bobby was openly cheating on her (Whitney knew and she still stayed), verbally abusing her, and slapping her like it was nothing. It's possible Whitney and Bobby stayed for the child and the drugs after a while. This was a woman who lived around abuse. Allegedly her brother Michael was a no good drug addicted abusive pedophile. There's rumors her father treated her like shit because she dressed in jeans and t-shirts and had her hair real short. There's even more rumors that Cissy and John Houston had an abusive marriage and that they separated due to it other than Cissy staying away from her children to work while John worked odd jobs so the family could have a roof over their heads. She didn't have it any better when she was becoming a star and with Bobby it only got worse. But at the end, Whitney decided what Whitney wanted. Which is even sadder because you wonder how can she stoop that low but if you were around bullshit your whole life, you're familiar to it.

omg SAY WHAAAAT??

Where'd you here that?

Bobby would make millions off of a tell all book about her. I know that other book that was written about Whitney's private life in the 90's that is out of print. Is going for hundreds on another site.

Kevin Ammons' book, "Good Girl, Bad Girl" or something like that... he basically said Whitney had been doing cocaine since her modeling days and that she got into a lot of physical fights. I read one story on the Panache Report where it was said that she, her brother Gary and a few of her bodyguards got into it with bigots and Whitney held her own with them. Kevin himself said "Whitney ain't no punk, Whitney could outbox Mike Tyson." Basically said Whitney was a G.

Whitney also kicked somebody's butt in an airport. She's had several airport throwdowns.

She was just not in the mood coming off an airplane I guess.

I don't want you to think like me. I just want you to think.

IDK, she could've had her pick famous or not.

She could have been openly gay and still been as popular.

People tend to lump Bobby's family into one large group. Bobby has 4 sisters Leolah, Carole, Bethy and Tina. One of them(Bethy) died of cancer. His sister Tina who is also a drug addict got high with Whitney. It was her and only her who sold Whitney out to the tabloids. Them two had long since patched things up. Bobbi Kristina was close to her aunts Bobby's sisters.

It seemed like Whitney was like Michael, no matter how much someone did her wrong she always found it in her heart to forgive.

2 days before her death, Whitney got in the face of that chick Stacy Francis over that loser Ray J. No wonder he seems wracked by guilt.

Regretful situation: Stacy Francis has spoken about the 'misunderstanding' between herself and Whitney Houston last Thursday

I think she regrets the story she sold to a British tabloid about an interrupted catfight with a drunken Whitney over Ray J. Her initial account of events, as detailed in that story, I believe, are true.

Stacey's words were chopped up she said on TV, like many who've said anything about Whitney since her passing. The reporters are interviewing folks & taking what they want to sell print stories. Plus we have all of this footage & pics of that night and still no fight footage or pics. I dont think there was a physical fight, this was at a club...ample opportunity to get the realness yet no one has it. Doesn't add up. Stacey & the rest would get way more $$ & attention for going for the worst story(a fight). Not like that wouldn't be a more attractive offer to Stacey and the gang but she's still saying it didn't go down(as well as others).

Stacey wasted no tell selling this story to the Daily Mirror about her "encounter" with Whitney at Tru Nightclub.

Tabloids I dont trust. Stacey addressed that story and everything on tv afterwards, I saw it. She said they had fun, had a some words and afterwards kinda was like whatever/brushed it off. Than they left the club and the rest is a tabloids dream. Should she have went to a paper of that sort,IDK but its done now.

X Factor Will Pay Tribute to Whitney Houston

Feb 23, 2012

Simon Cowell revealed yesterday that he intends to replace former X Factor host Steve Jones with a pair of co-hosts when the show returns later this year. "What we learned is that because you have so much information to deliver, it's almost impossible for one person," says Cowell. "It's [a] more fun way to do it with two people. It's a different chemistry. I've always wanted a boy and a girl and that will definitely happen."

Cowell also told journalists that he has some plans to pay tribute to Whitney Houston on the show. "I've got a feeling we're going to see a Whitney tribute on The Voice and Idol before us," he said, noting that he intends to do something a bit different. "We're going to continue to pay tribute to Whitney. Her songs literally are timeless. Whether we find anyone as good as her, that's a whole different ball game."

L.A. Reid, the only remaining judge on the show aside from Cowell, addressed reports that Houston had been approached to join the panel in season two. "We loved Whitney and we would certainly have considered her, but it never came to that," said Reid. "There was interest, but we really didn't get that far."

Whitney Houston, Rolling Stone issue no. 658, June 1993.

I can't believe this is Whitney's first and only cover of Rolling Stone due to the success of 'The Bodyguard'. In the 80s she was tremendously popular as Madonna but yet they never placed her on the cover. Didnt this magazine celebrate pop music at one time I dont know why she was overlooked.

Oh we all know the reason why... lol

I think Tina Turner is the most covered black artist in the history of that magazine.
