I find this a little unsettling.

But I'm glad he's still alive, though by all rights he probably shouldn't be.

I hope he comes back one more time.

Happy birthday, Bowie.

He has been involved in a lot of fun and innovative music.

It is definitely worth listening to samples (those 30 second or 1.5 minute

parts of songs that you can listen to for free on Itunes, Amazon.com MP3,

Rhapsody, etc.) to learn about low profile singles and album cuts

that were not "hits" for David Bowie but still have excellent quality.

David Bowie fans call for...reaches 65

I'd pay good price to see him in concert again. Last time I saw him was in 2000 at Roseland. Its been too long.

Change it one more time..

Ugh. I'm 16 and I never had the chance to see him live! It would be a dream come true, and I'd pay very much to see him live!

Yep, jon1967 posted this a couple of days ago but he forgot to do it under David's name. lol Happy B'day again to David. Love and appreciate the music even if he can't tour again. I would love for him to write an autobiography though... cool

He's sixty-five and they should stop trying to pressure the man back onstage and into a tour. That type of thing is hard on an artist of any age, but especially when they're older.

I'd hate to see him try to pull something like that off and something happen to him because of it.

Just be glad that he's still here and, by all accounts, is doing okay.

If they wanna see tour footage they can always go to YouTube.

All that aside - he's the sexiest old dude I've ever seen in my life and if he were single and he'd let me, I'd hump the caps off his teef.

David had a heart attack during his last tour. I think he is thinking more about his health these days and his family and has hopefully given up his lifetime cigarette addiction.

This is what I'm saying. I'm like, "Him touring at this point is the worst idea ever."

I hope he stays home and paints and stares at himself in the mirror, instead.

Which, I'd totally do if I looked like that.

lol I think he really did grow "better with time" in the looks department! He is still fine IMO. But, I would like him to stay home and maybe just write that book about his life that we would all like to read. wink

He really did - during most of his peak he was really unhealthy and odd-looking. As time went on and he resolved a lot of the stuff that was going on with him and got older, he got hotter and hotter.

I wouldn't be surprised if we never see an autobiography though lol.

You're probably right because he is such a private person, especially these days, but I hope you're wrong! wink

According to the Mirror (not exactly a trusted source), Bowie has pretty much (without fanfare) retired after his heart attack. If that report is accurate, he hasn't produced new music since his last album. Which was 9 years ago.

all they are reporting is what's been pretty obvious to everyone else for quite awhile now, so I'd trust it.

For the record, David is now the poster boy for clean living since his heart attack!! He no longer smokes or drinks and has had to change his diet(His wife, Iman used to cook full English fry-up breakfasts for him).

Also, he is working on publishing a new book which is due out sometime this year(October I read somewhere) entitled Object. Personally I cant wait for this!!
