Need help finding a song for the passing of a loved one

I'm putting together a pictorial video for a lost loved one and I need the right song. I don't want it to be too sad or sappy, more of the celebration of her life, but the message of how they miss and love her, and how she give her all to her family.

Thank you in advance for your suggestions. neutral

I have never had to do this myself, but from th eexperience of others, what you need to do is research the deceased's favorite songs/artsists and then pick from something he/she would have enjoyed as a serenade to the afterlife.

You can't just guess. You have to know that person's tastes in music, and art in general to know such a thing...

If it was a song for my death I'd choose A Place in Heaven. Or something from David Bowie. or Kate Bush. or Radiohead. y'know? Try to know what he/she liked...
