Tionne 'T-Boz' Watkins, of the multi-platinum selling R&B group TLC, continues to tackle obstacles in her personal life.

According to reports, Watkins filed documents in a bankruptcy court last month, which revealed that she owes creditors $768,642, mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million home.

Currently, it is unclear why Watkins made the move to bankruptcy as documents show her monthly expenses at roughly $8,821 and income at $11,700/month.

Watkins said she could have avoided filing if she was able to collect $250,000 in delinquent child support payments.

Despite millions of albums sold from four multi-platinum albums with TLC, Watkins says she only makes $1,200 monthly in royalties.

She has been battling Sickle Cell Anemia, an incurable blood disorder that leaves people exhausted and in constant pain, in addition to side effects from a treated brain tumor.

Tionne can never get a break...

I feel a bit sorry for her though, battling sickle cell disease and whatnot. Tough girl.

Shes not living beyond her means, its just her dead beat ex husband doesnt want to give her the $$$ for his daughter Chase. Shes doing what she has to do to keep a roof over her head.

What's preventing her from suing ex-hubby Mach 10 for overdue child support? Is he too financially challenged to feed his own kid?

Shes done that ready and her medical bills are not cheap ... and its MACK 10 and MACH 10

yep. same thing here in california. $1.2 million for even a small home in a nice area is pretty standard. i work in westwood, ca near ucla and i would bet the homes around the campus are far more than that. these houses do not have tons of backyard space or massive front yards. they tend to be older, which means they have lots of charm, but space, no way. even if t-boz is living in a "mcmansion", it's probably way out in a suburb somewhere and not in a celebrity-enclave.

When TLC wanted to leave her company, they didn't know that Pebbitone had them for two albums, meaning the proceeds from crazysexycool went to Pebbles and 'em and the other half went to La Face and since TLC, with the exception of probably Lisa, didn't write songs, well...
