She has had run-ins with her industry gal pals Gladys, Dionne and has never had a good relationship w/ Aretha (there have beem a couple of run-ins). Remember that incident from a few years ago when she invited that young guy up onstage,then got mad at him and kicked him offstage? He made a stupid comment and she got pissed (understandably) but I think she could have handled it in a better way.She created an awkward moment at her own show.

I don't buy ANY of it. I wasn't there and I don't personally know her (Miss Patti,) BUT, she seems pretty zippy, loveable and down to earth. It could be that these haters are simply out for HER. I mean, 4 REAL...okay?...Who REALLY KNOWS what happened at the airport or in that New York apartment building except for the people involved? The media LOVES to sensationalize shit like this at the artists' expense and public images. I'm not saying that any of it ISN'T true, but who really knows if they weren't there themselves? Maybe. Maybe not. I tend 2 doubt it. Why would she, after 4 decades of hard work, jeopardize her own image like that? It just doesn't make sense. I could be wrong TOO. I did read she left the stage early one 1992 show because she didn't get her crabs.
