by the time the HIStory tour rolled around, he was lipsynching nearly the whole show bar a few numbers......not to mention the playback tape would be late a couple of times (like the Gothenburg show where the playback for Scream didn't start until the second verse)

so he did lipsynch to the bad tour after all. i knew i was right. i was pretty sure he lipsynched to thriller, at least part of it when he was farting around onstage. maybe i'm getting confused with the second tour, but i was pretty certain he did the same during the first tour

you can tell easily the difference between him singing and miming on most songs as he's clearly out of breathe and shouting and the vocals sound completely different

it would have been much better if he just stood still and sang. the moonwalk is hardly strenous so he could have still pulled that off and a bit of body popping or whatever. no need for the thriller dance or smooth criminal routine

whilst it is 3 songs, i'd count the jackson5 medley as one track due to it's shortness. like the prince sampler medley (wtf is that about?)

7 songs out of 17 on the second tour, in particular the opening track. wtf was that about? it's not like he was dancing during earth song or heal the world or man in the mirror. people say madonna did it cuz of her dancing, but when you aren't dancing, why lipsynch?

With the '88-89 tour. He did the whole show live on the first US leg then he did the European leg and that's when he started lipsynching.
