I think TTD is one of the most underrated artists his TTD and post TTD work is sublime. As for his statement regarding Michael it could simply be that a clear and concise posting is beyond him. The fact he calls him The Master is all you need to know about the obvuos respect he had for him.

TTD used to seek counsel from Prince during P's SLAVE period. I remember him talking about how Prince told him to be his own artist - and was part of TTD's reasoning to become independant and potentially also influenced his name change.

Michael was working really hard on trying to put all his ideas into the show and Ortega asked him did he want to rest and Michael said something similar to "If I use these ideas and gifts correctly, God will give them to Prince"

I understood that as "If I don't use my gifts correctly, God will pass them on to the most willing participant"

oh yeah, i think i remember that from somewhere. I'm not kidding you guys, us musicians/artists really think strange, that maybe ideas come from the ether not from us. It's a fairly common story that the telephone was invented at the same time, things like that. And, I've always noticed that movies with the same subject may come out at the same time.
