Am I the only one who feels like laughing in MJJC's faces for begging fans to not critically talk about the Jackson family all this time? Blind faith is never good and look what it's come down to. I feel like pigs are flying after reading their statement about not supporting this show. I used to get so upset and cry over stuff like this, but now it's just, for a lack of a better word, retarded and the people I'm upset for are MJ's kids though at the same time, I don't feel emotionally attached to them like I did for Michael.

What are KISS fans saying? Are they putting Michael down too cause of Gene or also going WTF?

Personally I don't think this tribute will take place but if it somehow will see the ligth of day I don't care. I will not attend but if the Jacksons get some money I don't mind. Maybe that will make them stop making some of those pointless interviews.

Nah I'm not devastated, I'm pissed off. evillol I stopped crying about these fools years ago. biggrin

Pissed off/devastated = too emotionally connected

If money is all the Jacksons care about I doubt angry MJ fans will bother them. By endorsing this event they probably got what they wanted (i.e. a paycheck) regardless of the outcome of this tribute.

Put on a good record, have an ice cream and relax everybody.

I know... this has botheredme too and I used to not go on this forum anymore because everytime someone said something about the family, they got banned and everything..

And things got worst when the forum won the MTV awards for best fan forum, now they just checked their asses and we also couldnĀ«,t put unreleased anymore and stuff.

But now, this mess of a so called tribute is just too big to shut up. I'm glad they released the statement.

Yeah, I love Graffiti Bridge movie, so what? ''Oooooooooooh Montreal, say it!''
If you can't be nice to someone on the net, you probably ain't worth much talking to in real life either.

I never thought I said this, but I really starting to believe that Michael's death (as a murder and/or a "blood sacifice") was in total vain all along.

At this point, I'm considering retiring from being a fan of The Jacksons altogether now (I still pulling for Janet to get her act together nonetheless!). neutral

Nah I think his death exposed his family for what they really are. Janet (and to a certain extent Austin) are the only Jacksons I'm gunning for nowadays anyway.

I'm thinking KISS fans are not happy at all that KISS agreed to do this. In fact some of them may think Gene is turning his back on his negative comments so they think he's a liar lol well I'm glad he accepted because it seems like even KISS fans are up in arms over this too. Not to mention the rock community is shaking their heads at the moment.

At least those that run MJJC own up to the fact that this family is messed up . Those that run the KOP board will never admit to this. Like all the times before, once this news dies down, the defenders and those that run the site will be right back to kissing the family's asses.

If this was Joseph f***ing up, I wouldn't be surprise either way because I'm used to him acting a damn fool and actually forgiving him only because Michael & Janet would have forgiven him (not forget, BTW!).

But when it is Katherine acting a damn fool, THIS is a massive disappointment. disbelief I strongly feel that forgive her is going to be very difficult.

And that's why I reacted so strongly to this, or as manthevan put it eloquently, I was emotionally devastated ( lol ). Katherine ain't too old that she doesn't know what's going on. She does. She's a fake JW also because I don't know how she's even trusting fools who don't have much sense. I doubt Joe is as controlling as people in the media have put it. He's a numbskull for sure but he didn't pull the strings here. In fact he's doing his own little scheming with his, I guess, cologne, perfume, I forgot what the hell he's trying to sell now, don't care really. If it was Joe I would've laughed it off and moved on. This is KATHERINE JACKSON we're talking about. A whole new ballgame. Matter of fact after reading up on her and all the stuff that has emerged since her son died, I'm real disappointed in her. I won't mourn when she dies and that's sad to say because prior to 2009 I would've been torn by her death. But not now. Even my parents think she ain't worth nothing.

this is what I don't get, either you are a fan of the music or you're not. What has family drama got to do with anything?

I can totally understand if someone thinks that Triumph sucks as a record. But a record isn't good or bad because of actions that has nothing to do with it. The music should be judged on its own merit.

I don't think because someone's contemplating not being a Jackson fan anymore don't mean they won't stop listening to the music. I joked about burning their CDs up and shit. But hell none of them have anything to burn except probably Jermaine. And who in the hell is listening to a La Toya album post-1981? lol I just look at their history and I'm just disappointed that they really had nothing to show for it. The way they're going with this "concert" just makes them look like leeches to me. And I'm not against them having money, but I'm against how they're using it to get it. In this case, they're using their mother, who as it turns out, is a willing anticipant and has been for a long time now.

The mtv awards had a fan forum category and MJJC formerly MJJF WON??!!! That is a fucking joke, sorry Michael. They were great at supporting him, and I was devoted to going on that site during the allegations and trial and have some good memories, but they want to control you like robots and don't let you speak your mind or joke around in general. Haven't gone back since and don't intend to. I've heard all kinds of crazy shit about mods being investigated if illegal clips are posted too and scare tactics. They act like a cult, and it's creepy

A lot of times I really want to stop being a fan too and just move on, but I can't. I still love Michael and Janet and won't give up the Jacksons records cause of Michael. But now it's just depressing overall....and I'm sure MOL is popping a champagne now that we've seen how Katherine is acting, it's so sad. I felt odd when I heard about Latoya saying the family didn't want to go after justice for Michael until she insisted on it and was doing work and I have a bit of a soft spot for her sometimes, but now hearing that plus seeing Katherine's actions are too strange. Maybe her grieving the way we expect is too painful for her, but also why would KISS be interested in this opportunity if Gene has such horrible beliefs about MJ?

I couldn't like R.Kelly the same way anymore after 2002 but now I can put him on and remember liking him though he's a mess and don't know which side to believe. Madonna laughed at someone for date rape and I would have banned her years ago, but now I don't care though I disagree with her behaviour cause she made this comment 20+ years ago and has changed since and I highly doubt she would say it now. If she did laugh today, I would disrespect her right away, no question about it. I used to not agree with Janet acting promiscous for sometime and really used to question her cause that was not why I started loving her, but I'm old enough to know people have a sex life too and she's not hurting anyone with expressing herself and I don't have to listen to songs if some of them don't appeal to me.

Ok if that's how you work then fine. Everybody is different and it's a free world.

Personally I have no trouble listening to R Kelly regardless of how many underaged girls he has peed on. I have no trouble listening to James Brown regardless of how many women he has beaten or supposedly raped. And the same goes for Michael, I would have no trouble enjoying Michael's music even if he was a pedophile.

If I like the music I like the music. I don't think about James Brown's domestic violence or polis assaults when I hear his songs. I don't think about R Kellys sex tapes when I listen to his records and I don't think about sleepovers when I hear MJ. And I will certainately not think about this fake tribute when I listen to J5 or The Jacksons.

I was mad for his naive behaviour too of trusting too many people for the longest time in all aspects of his life, but realized I was the only one getting hurt and had to step away and stop going out of my way to defend him cause it got too painful and overwhelming and tried to focus on the positive. And I had to realize I was feeling that way for selfish reasons too.

I feel like a lot of times, without planning to, I let myself get too emotionally attached to him though we never met and I saw so much of myself in him though I am also my own person and there will never be another him. I guess he was a distraction from my own shit for a long time and I don't remember a time I didn't know of him, so I took everything regarding him hard and am still not over him dying.

You forgave R.Kelly a lot sooner than I would have.

The one thing that separates R.Kelly from Michael is the fact that R.Kelly was busted on digital camera having sexual relations with 3 different underage girls (one of them he urinated on!). The video itself is actually illegal to own a copy of because it counts as child pornography in the USA. And yet, that nasty son of the bitch was found NOT guilty by the jury. Even today, I really can NOT listen to most of R's slow jams because now there might be a possibility that he was thinking/singing about some underage girl instead of a grown woman.

All negative critics (including Gene Simmons) can say whatever they will about Michael Jackson. But if nothing else, there were never any video evidences to prove if Michael was ever guilty of any wrongdoing. Period. Point Blank. End of story.

I dont forgive or not forgive, if he's on a playlist, I just remember liking him years ago. I don't think what he did was right if they were underrage, but I remember hearing there was no date on the tapes to determine the age or that he thought the girls were older though I know guys will say anything to cover their asses too. I remember some mention of Sparkle's niece so I wondered if it was a setup or not, but didn't know there was more than one girl till now. I don't know details to really know any facts, cause I don't care for him like that. And I was like WTF too when he was found not guilty cause I could have sworn they found child porn during a raid though I never asked anyone to clarify. But I'll tell you what upsets me, if people went on liking R.Kelly and were quick to hate on MJ, THAT is hypocritical. If true about the child porn and girls been underrage, then yes, he should have done time like John Doe down the street, and for a long time. But if it was consensual and the girls wanted it, that's different, it's not uncommon for underage girls to act like they want it, but it's also disgusting that R. was thinking with his dic.k if they were truly underaged and took advantage of them, cause a girl having needs should NOT equate to granting them, especially if she is underraged or vulernable
