Christina Aguilera has admitted to infidelities in her marriage to Jordan Bratman.

The two separated in 2010 and were married in 2005.

Speaking to W Magazine the singer, when asked about her infidelity said: "At one time or another, we were both not angels."

The singer also described the end of the union. She said: “It got to a point where our life at home was reminding me of my own childhood. I will not have my son grow up in a tension-filled home."

"I knew there would be a negative reaction in the press to my divorce, but I am not going to live my life because of something someone might say. That goes against everything I sing [about] on my records. I have to be myself."

Aguilera also defended her drunken arrest in March, by saying: "The police knew my recent history and wanted to jump on the bandwagon. I don't mean to martyr myself, but I think I was a victim of celebrity."

"I don't drive, I wasn't driving, and I committed no crimes, but they put me in jail. They called me a 'political hot potato'. They said, 'What are we going to do with this woman?' I think they were bored that night."

I read the whole interview earlier and they didn't really ask her about her infidelity, simply about her divorce in general.

I feel kind of stupid for not noticing it but now I see it's a Stevie Nicks vibe. Courtney was inspired by Stevie but I'm not sure which one of them Christina is channeling.

Why am I not surprised by this? I recall when they got married that they didn't seem like they were too much in love with one another.

She probably had more of a business relationship- he was afterall a music industry producer and behind the scenes guy. She used him probably.

Even if they had a business relationship, there's still no excuse for cheating. If you're not happy, better to divorce.

The story is he managed her and was the one who cleaned up her bad girl image, and got her some critical acclaim going. Then her career stalled when she had the baby, and if your relationship with your husband was initially based on that career, well.....
