The ghost of Michael Jackson upstaged the "Rock of Ages" show in Hollywood last night.


Sources tell TMZ Sony is currently shooting two Michael Jackson videos in Hollywood -- the one above is a music video for "Hollywood Tonight."

It wasn't exactly being shot on the down-low .... a crew of 60 lined the sidewalk and the street in front of the Pantages Theatre.

Going by this clip I am not impressed with this video. Do we really need to see other people doing Michael's moves again? How imaginative, like that's never been done before Since the man himself isnt here to film the video, it would be better to make this a concept video, with people/actors acting out the storyline in the song. Hollywood Tonite has a really good storyline and it would be better imo to have the video play out the song's lyrics instead of showcasing a bunch of wannabe MJ dancers dance his moves. But then again, this is just a clip, hopefully the rest of the video is a lot better than what we see here.

I agree. I hated that about Hold My Hand. Just a bunch of people trying to get their shine and mimicking Michael's moves. I agree, they should just work out a storyline with actors and do it like that. The song screams for a video like this

apparently, people are hungry for that kind of thing, so people will keep writing books like this. i personally happen to not be into that culture.

i like personal writings, but not of this nature. it just reads like a seedy soap opera, but more disrespectful.

From the looks of it "Hollywood Tonight" is going to have a bit of a flash mob feel to it.

Wow - so 2009.

So it seems a roughly put together "documentary" entitled "Alive! Is Michael Jackson really dead" is set for a March 1 release.

One of the claims as proof of Michael hoaxing his death to have the ultimate "comeback" is a note that is reported to be in MJ's hand writing saying "See you in July, 2011".

Now you know I don't buy into any of this - but hopefully if this is their proof then come 1 August we can finally put all this nonsense to rest and more importantly let MJ rest in peace.

That's what I hate about the promotion. They're doing these videos of random fans dressing like Michael and dancing......it's old and tired now. That's why I've only watched Hold My Hand twice. They could've easily done a montage of old footage with Akon singing along like he was in video

Hollywood Tonight has its own storyline. All they need to do is hire some actors, set the vibe, and bingo. you have a video

the video for Behind The Mask looks a bit more interesting though

i saw one or two of these notes which surfaced (there's videos of them) and it's not his handwriting at all. there's another theory going around that he had a twin, and one of the twins died so there's still one of them floating around.

the thing is, michael used to go around saying janet was his twin, so perhaps the theorists mis-interpreted the 'twin' thing for that? i cannot say. but the 'twin' argument uses everything from different ears to the missing mole on his face. the mole has always been there. a lot of times it's covered with makeup or photoshopped.

Does that mean you arent thrilled that they are featured in another interview? Or does seeing this make you miss Michael more? I really dont know what the purpose of this interview is...are they trying to promote something? Anyways I noticed the kids were wearing Heal the World Foundation shirts.

Even from the grave, Michael Jackson can still pull a crowd of hot chicks -- like the ones who squeezed into some very short skirts for an MJ music video shoot in Hollywood this week.



TMZ obtained some photos from the set of the "Hollywood Tonight" video shot inside Colony nightclub.

As we previously reported, the ladies joined up with a bunch of other dancers to perform a routine on Hollywood Blvd. a few nights ago ... if you haven't checked it out by now, click here.

More or less both things you mentioned. This way it seems like they (the media, katherine) wanna conduct a new interview every 6-12 months. I don't think that's something Michael would approve of...They were already on Oprah. And you can kinda tell they aren't feeling so comfortable being interviewed probably because of what Michael told/taught them.

Even if they wanna do something positive themselves it shouldn't be magnified like that. Those kids will have a tough life ahead.

Yeah, I agree. I dont think they should have been put out on another interview too, they were on Oprah and that's enough. I think this was done for promotion of Katherine's book. And yeah, they didnt seem all that willing to do this interview either imo.
