Considering her new upcoming tour. I've been watchng her videos all day. I'm sure her performances will be a tamed version of her earlier stuff, but it's great to just celebrate her!

Hey, not too late! Maybe you can still see her... I just lucked out because I read on Prince.org that she was going to be in my town...at a venue right down the street from where I live!

I understand the plane thing--my son and I spent over 6 hours flying to New Jersey to see Prince at the Izod Center... Cost a bunch of bucks, too, although we saw New York City for the first time. But, just today, I heard on a local radio station that Prince is coming to the West Coast...

Well, we shall see...Prince did cancel the first Izod concert and I had to scramble to get good seats for an additional date... We shall see what happens in Princeland!

Hmm.. I found them to be quite reasonable, actually. It was similar to Prince's show, but I was pretty far back for what I paid at this show. For Janet, I'm paying the same amount, however, I'm on the floor.

I expect they're ridiculous in all the stops. She still hasn't announced anymore dates. I'm quite surprised the dates were announced as quickly as they did... it'll probably be revealed at the end of this month though.

No, the VIP tickets are outrageous in my opinion! But I managed to get reasonable seats in the middle floor section for only $99.00. Considering that it is a small venue, the view should be quite good. I am 5'9" so I think I can see over most people in front of me! I rejected closer seats on the side of the stage--middle section is the way to go! Plus, it was $50 cheaper!

Exactly. I have similar seats. The venue in NY houses about 6k people.. however, I'm not that tall so I hope I don't have a problem. The floor slightly elevates as you go further back so maybe it'll give me an advantage.

I wish! I might think about spending that if there was a Meet & Greet with pix--no, wait! My son who just graduated college, is looking for a job, and has no health insurance, needs to have his impacted wisdom teeth pulled! Brakes on...debt ahead! So, no way, no how for VIP. I am not a VIP and never will be!
