If she got Anthony Thomas and Terry Bixler back to choreograph for her, or even Tina Landon, I would plotz!

I'll take Anthony and Terry over Tina. bored2

To be honest, so would I, even if it was just so that I could stare at Bixler for a while lol

ill at Gil. Can she just get rid of him already? I don't understand why one of the best dancers ever likes to move like a fucking robot in a box! There's so many young, fresh dancers out there.

ok so i'm reading from a music site that gil is going to be the choregrapher for her tour, i was really hoping he was participating in the dancing but eehhh he doesn't have any growth in his routines to keep you excited but he's her friend so oh well neutral

Controversial as in crap. He doesn't bring out the best in her, why he still has the gig i don't know.

At this point, I'm not even giving a damn about her using Gil again. I mean, I doubt we'll see new choreography during this tour. I have a feeling this is going to be her last time touring

lol lol its a turn off to see janet looking like a some kind of spoof.... she did a performance of feedback on some morning show and literally it looked wacked... the backup male dancers had glitter and eye shadow on their face... janet needs to stay far from that....

it doesn't match her style.....

the choreography, if you can call it that was wack, not the image IMO, it fit the sound and image the song was going for IMO...and she can be as gay as she wants

Regardless of who she uses, the choreography for most of the songs have standard dance moves that stay the same (If, Rhythm Nation, Pleasure Principle, Nasty Boys).... the only thing that will change is the energy this time around. This tour is mostly about her famous singles and she can't undo the old choreography for them.

Can we post examples of Gil's choreography?

I think Nick Bass did the choreography for "Luv". I remember Janet mentioning this on the RWU Tour. Gil is usually hit or miss with his choreography. These are what I think his best routines for Janet were:

Ed Moore (E-Mo) choregraphed the dreadful 'Luv' routine. Tony Testa assisted with the 'Rock Wit U' routine.

All of Gil's routines look way too drag-ish.

So why that mofo hasn't been fired yet?!?

Or better yet, what does Janet sees in Gil Duldulao as a choreographer that we don't?

all the complaining gets on my nerves- when she was lip synching it all and dancin her butt off- folk had something to say- when she is trying to sing live the majority of the show- folk got something to say- it's either or people- you can't expect her to recreate a VIDEO if she is singing live- it aint gone happen at any age. Hence the 500- 18 yr old dancers she got jumpin up and down behind her....

-she better shoot up some B 12, 13 and 14 before she hits Chicago cause I paid a wod of cash to see her again - and ive never missed a tour- she cancelled my date on the last one- I still havent forgiven her for that- we'll see what happens......Ms. Janet hmph!

LOVE HARD.

I feel so lucky--Janet is performing two shows just a few blocks from my house! I can't miss that... I have never seen her live and can't pass up this chance...I also feel like another orger that this might be her last tour...

^^^ I hope not either...but I think the days of big venues and extreme workout tours are almost over. I can't dance like I used too either! LOL Janet did state that she is interested in doing Broadway--I could totally see her in a good role on the stage--would pay bucks to see that! wink

I would still like to see Janet do another album which moves away from the sex kitten image that she has worked in recent years (with Jerkmaine & co.). I would like to see her do another album with Jimmy & Terry--with great songs lyrics and music that compliments her NOW! Get past that image with some songs which match who and what she is right NOW! That is what is needed IMO. My :two cents:
