I just finished reading Margaret's Jackson Family Values book. It was recommended by another fan to give it a read. I figured it would be a lying rant about Jermaine, but no... it underestimates his stupidity. The fact that he's STILL able to get re-married given his past is beyond me! Someone should've sterilzed him a long time ago! And I don't believe those 7 kids are his ONLY kids. Nope. Not buying it.

Nope. As an American expatriate who travels all over the place (including Africa), I can tell you that the passport holder is soley responsible for renewing their own passport, no one tells you anything. The burden of responsibility lies on your shoulders. Ideally you should be (or at least used to be) able to fill out a renewal form then pick up your renewed passport at your nearest embassy without any hassle when you're overseas...that is, unless you get flagged.

In any event, I wouldn't worry about Jermaine being stuck. He seems to be pretty cozy with a lot of high ranking members of the muslim community in Africa and the Middle East, and I'm sure he's trading off the family name to be "hosted" as a special "guest "in some pretty swank surroundings. He ain't over there back packin'. He's enjoying someone's hospitality, as it were.

About Africa and the Middle East....Jermaine knows lots of SUPER rich people in these places and I suspect he does big money gigs under the table. He travels to these places often, so I'm not suprised that he's there.

I agree w/ that poster upthread that said this story is rather fishy. There may be some truth to it, but it seems a bit sexed up.

Does anybody know where his wife comes from if not the US?
