Thanks for embedding this! Yeah I like this version better too, I think this was the way it was originally recorded without all the unnecessary silly sound effects added to it. Just Michael and the music nod

There are few pretty cool rare pictures. Does anyone have the one from China at 0:37 where he´s sitting on a boat?

Wow...why the fuck did they change the name? "Do You Know" would have been fine, or even "12 O' Clock".

"Hollywood Tonight" doesn't sound like the right name for that song. Damn Sony, messing shit up again.

So, from the first posthumous MJ release we get:

3 fake songs (Breaking News, Keep Your Head Up, Monster)

1 song that's already been released (The Way You Love Me)

1 song that already leaked 2 years ago (yes the new version is better) (Hold My Hand)

1 song that already got released by three other artists (YMO, Greg P, Clapton) - altho I still am excited to hear the MJ version, but chances are it's more or less the same as Greg's version but with MJ singing. (Behind The Mask)

1 song that we've already heard the verse, bridge and chorus of, and was already released without MJ (Another Day/Storm)

2 songs that leaked out a month before the album release. (Hollywood Tonight/Do You Know and Much Too Soon)

That only leaves "Best of Joy".

This whole album is just a colossal fail on the part of both the estate AND Sony.

I mean, where the fuck is:

Xscape

Blue Gangsta

Strawberry Fields Forever

A Place With No Name

Bottle of Smoke

Bassouile

Buffalo Bill

Eaten Alive

Get Around

Hot Street

Men In Black

Serious Effect

....just for a start? Now THAT's the album they need to release.

I think the last sticky got deleted because all of the file sharing.

And I see other pictures from that group alot,if I see that one in particular i'll post it for you!wink

MJStar makes shit up.

DYKWYCA is NOT Hollywood Tonight. Teddy Riley confirmed this.

Here are some lyrics from Hollywood Tonight:

"Lipstick in hand

Tahitian tanned

In her painted on jeans

She dreams of fame

She changed her name

To one that fits the movie screen

She’s headed for the big time, that means

She’s going Hollywood

She’s going Hollywood tonight

She’s going Hollywood

She’s going Hollywood tonight

She’s going Hollywood

She’s going Hollywood tonight

It’s true, that you, may never ever have that chance again"

These were posted by a very, very reliable insider on MJJC who has proven himself to be legit time and time again.

Seems to me like Much Too Soon IS an alternate title for "Learned My Lesson" which is a song from the Thriller session, but THIS version sounds a lot later, perhaps the Dangerous era

Yeah, that's just a remix that uses the snippet that leaked last year.

The final mix, which we've only heard another snippet of, has less of a "blistering" rock edge and Mike and Lenny's vocals are clearer. Dave Grohl is on drums.

Some people like the harder rock edge of the other snippet, but I prefer what we hear on the final mix.. sounds crystal-clear and doesn't lose too much of its edge.

Could somebody slap Usher for me? eek

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Usher talks filling Michael Jackson's shoes

For much of his nearly 16-year career, he’s appeared to be groomed as the successor to Michael Jackson, especially since Jackson's death. Raymond isn't facing much competition for the title; Chris Brown is still trying to repair his damaged image, and Justin Timberlake has become a viable movie star.

The show confirms that not only does Raymond believe he’s inherited the crown, but also that he’s a worthy heir to Jackson’s glitter-studded shoes -– the latter of which he literally fills during one point in the show when a sparkling black pair of high-top sneakers mysteriously appear onstage. After announcing to the audience that “when I put these things on, I just ... turn into a ... animal,” he launchess into a moonwalk, almost conjuring Jackson's ghost.

“You know, we lost Michael Jackson. A lot of pressure is on me, and I don’t mind taking it,” he said later. “The overarching impression that I’d like to leave is that, you know, this guy is really stepping it up to a level where people can hopefully compare him to people like [Jackson], and great entertainers of the past.”

Though the tour does offer a startling number of visual nods to “This Is It,” Jackson’s would-be last hurrah, Raymond isn’t so sure he wants to tour as he ages, having told the New York Times earlier this year: “Hopefully, at 40, I won’t have to be on the stage.”
