11/27 Soul Train-Anita Baker and Gregory Abbot

Never seen this one-first song played was "Nail it to the Wall" by Stacey Lattisaw.

Well, I see they are finally airing an episode that wasn't on WGN back in 2006. Late 80s....hell to the naw....and Anita Faker barf.

I am soooooooooo glad I don't have cable anymore. That's hard earned money spent on more satisfying things like DVD seasons of old shows that cable ain't got the good sense or good taste to air again.

Anyway, scriptgirl....you lovely lady.....keep us up to date with these "Soul Train" threads each week because if there's a good one, even though I ain't got cable anymore, I know a sexy motherfucker that can hook me up.....I hope. biggrin

Lorrrrd, she makes Shitney sound like Rick James. barf

The first time I ever heard her on the radio, there was a country station right next to WJMI. WJMI was 99.7 and the country station was 98 (point something). Anyway, this was the days before the digital radio dial. Remember the turning the knob with the little red arrow pointing to the station?

Anyway, I turned on the radio one day back in 1986 and this was playing....

I wish I could find the original version from youtube instead of the live version but I'm sure you've heard it before. Anyway.....when I heard that bullshit, I thought my radio dial had been changed or bumped or something over to the country station because the shit I was hearing immediately reminded me of this..........

Actually, a fear of panick entered my body because I thought maybe WJMI had been bought out and changed out to a country format.....the station that was previously on 98 (on the dial right next to WJMI) was pop/rock and country motherfuckers bought them out and changed the format. If WJMI (the ONLY black FM station...and the baddest station in town at the time) had become extinct, I would have been SICK.

I kept on listening though, until the DJ came on and played another song to make sure I was still listening to WJMI and not some other station that had bought them out. As for Anita Faker though....her music is WAAAAAAAAAY more boring than Shitney Houston's. Compared to her, Shitney sounds funky. At least Shitney has SOME fast songs....even if they are watered down to high hell with her little black Debbie Boone ass. lol

As for WJMI though.....that damn station is still on the air and is a fucking disgrace to what it used to be. I wish the motherfuckers would at least change the name of it because that shit hop ass station does not DESERVE to be called the one and only WJMI which was bad as hell back in the day.

Oh, I love you too honey. I'm gonna drop these no good ass men....the dirty son of a bitches.....and get with your ass. lol

Like I said, I don't have cable anymore. Rick James huh? Was it him on "Soul Train" performing "Big Time" with The SOS Band on the same episode? That's the DVD that a piece of rough trade motherfucker that I was fooling with a few months ago stole out of my entertainment center while I was upstairs changing clothes to go the store to buy more beer. The bastard. If I wasn't afraid of going to prison, I'd cut his fucking dick off and fuck him up his own ass with it....damn son of a bitch. That's alright though, Andy never forgets and he always gets even. evillol

Yes, I'm drunk as hell tonight honey and ready to talk SHIT! lol
