I saw a picture of her on JET from Ms. Walker's funeral and she did look as if she lost a few pounds.

Aretha also sang at Dr. Mattie Moss Clark's service. Which led me to this gorgeous performance. I had never actually heard her sing until this. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I love Twinikie, but my goodness her mother was the Source.

and DORINDA is like a living version of Mattie walking and singing from the grave to this earth in FLESH!! Good lawd, Dorninda can praise and preach until a demon is ripped in TWO, she is NO joke. Actually, ALL of what refer to as the Detroit Gospel Posse (Aretha & family, The Moss(es) & Clark Sisters, and The Winans) are no joke . I think if I ever saw a Gospel praise with all of these families on the bill you'd have to carry me out on a stretcher on life support

I can't recall (one of these health shows) the used gallon paint buckets to show how much fat you lose after 10 pounds: if my memory serves me right, losing 10 pounds of fat was the equivalent of 4 gallon buckets. Read last week if people in the U.S. keep gaining weight 4 out of ten Americans will suffer from diabetes.
