TT's take on a Bee Gees classic

Here it is everyone! The new TT single (their 1st in 15 yrs with Robbie):

Guess nobody likes it. | |

I'd never heard of Take That until Robbie had some (marginal, compared to the UK) success here in the States. None of it is really my kind of music, but I find Robbie entertaining. He's totally unafraid to make fun of himself and his image. That goes a long way with me.

Nah - not really. But again, not really the kind of music I listen to in general. More power to 'em for continuing to work together, though. I understand they were quite popular at one time.

I thought this was a pretty enjoyable album...
...but I was never much impressed by anything else I've heard from Robbie or Take That. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

Anyone from th UK gonna go see TT next year?

I listened to the new album in full today. It's really good! Robbie sounds pretty "David Bowie" in places. Well worth getting on Monday.. "Still Crazy 4 Coco Rock"

"The Circus" is an excellent adult/contemporary pop/rock album and Robbie has released some of the best pop singles of the last 13 years...I guess Robbie's solo career is over: his last album is selling poorly and considering the good reviews/high sales of the current TT, he has done the right thing: to come back to TT
I was a teenager back in the mid-90s and I hated TT because they looked like a band for silly girls, but now I can proudly say that they released some pretty amazing pop singles: Pray, Everything Changes, Sure, Back for Good and specially Never Forget...

This is just a compilation of his first 2 albums (Life Thru A Lens and I've Been Expecting You) aimed at the american market as a introduction.

You Must, it's a really good pop album and better than Baeutiful World (which is still good). ^^ has a more collaborative feel to it.
The new one has gotten great reviews, looking forward to it.

The new album is great. Very different for them but in a very good way. I'm sure they mention Paisley Prince on track 6 'Happy Now' ...shall we go back?...let's go

wow, Mark Owen looks like SHIT

Understandable really. He's probably had better years...
(I noted the Q Awards photo, quite insensitive to load the table full of booze when there are two recovering alcoholics sat there)

I don't even know who is who. Left to right? I think it's the same order in both pics.
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
From left to right they are:
Jason Orange, Howard Donald, Robbie Williams, Mark Owen, Gary Barlow
- E-mail - orgNote - Report post to moderator |
yep, as Ellis has said, Orange, Donald (pretty disposable guys), R.Williams (the brain & balls of the band) Owen (the main songwriter) and Barlow (you could say he's the "frontman/leader")... [Edited 11/14/10 8:22am]

Initially manufactured to be the British NKOTD. I must say, they've aged remarkably well. [Edited 11/15/10 16:12pm]
