I'd never heard of Take That until Robbie had some (marginal, compared to the UK) success here in the States. None of it is really my kind of music, but I find Robbie entertaining. He's totally unafraid to make fun of himself and his image. That goes a long way with me.

Nah - not really. But again, not really the kind of music I listen to in general. More power to 'em for continuing to work together, though. I understand they were quite popular at one time.

I thought this was a pretty enjoyable album...

...but I was never much impressed by anything else I've heard from Robbie or Take That.

I listened to the new album in full today. It's really good! Robbie sounds pretty "David Bowie" in places. Well worth getting on Monday..

"The Circus" is an excellent adult/contemporary pop/rock album and Robbie has released some of the best pop singles of the last 13 years...I guess Robbie's solo career is over: his last album is selling poorly and considering the good reviews/high sales of the current TT, he has done the right thing: to come back to TT nod

I was a teenager back in the mid-90s and I hated TT because they looked like a band for silly girls, but now I can proudly say that they released some pretty amazing pop singles: Pray, Everything Changes, Sure, Back for Good and specially Never Forget...cool

This is just a compilation of his first 2 albums (Life Thru A Lens and I've Been Expecting You) aimed at the american market as a introduction.

You Must, it's a really good pop album and better than Baeutiful World (which is still good). ^^ has a more collaborative feel to it.

The new one has gotten great reviews, looking forward to it.

The new album is great. Very different for them but in a very good way. I'm sure they mention Paisley Prince on track 6 'Happy Now'

Understandable really. He's probably had better years... wink

yep, as Ellis has said, Orange, Donald (pretty disposable guys), R.Williams (the brain & balls of the band) Owen (the main songwriter) and Barlow (you could say he's the "frontman/leader")...

Initially manufactured to be the British NKOTD. I must say, they've aged remarkably well.
