Amerie has officially changed the spelling of her name to Ameriie.

The Grammy-nominated star, whose new album Cymatika Vol. 1 will be released next year, has added an extra 'i' to her name to reflect her "positive energy".

Chart positions dont determine your check, unless u have a 360deal, she has her own distribution label, that is partnered with Universal for the moment, which clears her advances, a commercial she shot in Japan cleared her more money than Flo-Rida made in his whole career, pretty sad considering he is the most downloaded artist.
