haha "any song by katy perry" about sums it up for me

right now it's that california girls one with snoop. it's probably a good song if u live in california

lol No, I currently live in Long Island NY and everytime 'Empire State of Mind' comes on, I cringe and want to vomit and throw things. I hate both versions of that song...especially the Alicia Keys solo version. It was fine until the 5th time and then after that I just wanted to punch both of them. 'New Yooorrrk' ugh. disbelief

I actually like Katy Perry for some reason. Maybe because her debut album was actually waay better than I had expected it to be...still hate 'I Kissed A Girl' though but all the other singles were great. nod This one is still my favorite:

Such a good video too. mushy She's just adorable.

I hate when artists announce their label, or brand their names into the beginning of every song. Maybeee if they made memorable music they wouldn't have to!

Michael didn't do it! Neither did Stevie! Damn!

Prince has a song about Paisley Park.

Just saying.

I thought the same thing when he started promoting this new album...I'm like isn't he pushing 30 and singing about absolutely NOTHING! Confessions was a way better album in quality...are the songs catchy...yeah I'll admit that but the videos are quite the same and it seems to be a bit immature on his part....doesn't Ush know the teenagers are NOT the ones following him...it's the early 30 and 40 year women.....I guess for those who want to get their cougar on...its cute ...maybe...but for me...its just UGH!

zup?! I've lived in NZ 4 5 months last year and I fell in love with some artits/bands...opshop, nesian mystik, anika moa, kora, tiki taane among others...I miss all that!! I think u guys have a very good music scene down there.

as 4 ur question...anything by ke$ha makes me cringe

All those groups are great, but they not really played by anyone except fringe hip hop stations and student radio. At my work we can only listen to anodyne 'family' orientated stations like Classic Hits and Aucklands the Breeze, that play Train and Lady Antebellum all the time. All of those groups have gone except Annika Moa whose put out a new album and its great. Nesian Mystik haven't hit in two years. Tiki Taane only had the one hit (Brilliant one hit though) and has faded into obscurity, his hit is now an advertising jingle for a bank.

that is a damn shame...i still would like 2 attend a nesian mystik gig..it must be real fun...but back then when i was living in nz i remember that the aria's chart was full of kiwi acts...but i've never listened 2 radio there...i came across these bands through a music channel, which i don't remember the name.
