The song titles that I’m aware of include: “Water,” a song Michael actually sang a little bit of in the movie, “This is It” (Jackson fans have commented on this on fan blogs),

Where at in the movie is this song sung?

I believe MJ is still around...in spirit.

I wanted to share a few things with the orgers who aren't
my Facebook friends. As some of you know, my little film
crew in Kansas City are putting together a MJ tribute short-film
project. Anyway, I stayed up really late the night before our shoot,
just working out different shots and things like that..anyway
That night I was about to go to bed but noticed there was a rainbow
on my script for the shoot later today.

Another thing that happened today as I'm editing the project,
I was about to take a break and stop in the middle of it, without
accomplishing all the editing I planned to today, when something
happened. I was literally about to get up, when my computer randomly
started playing "Man In The Mirror" and that familiar opening of the song
came on, and it gave me chills. For a minute, it didn't click with me
where it was coming from. Needless to say, I kept working on it after
that. Only stopped to take a break to post this. Anyway. Back to editing.

Shame that Michael never got to pose with LaChapelle - i know that would have been one great photo, especially with the respect David had for Michael.

Thank you so much for sharing this with me. I'll post the
opening scene from the film soon, as a jpg. It really will
hit home for a lot of MJ fans. We are debating on releasing it
online either June 25th or waiting till August for Michael's birthday.
It's a tough call because the film really is about honoring Michael's
legacy, and more-so honoring what Michael meant to HIS FANS, but
the entire short-film takes place on June 25th, 2009.

Anyway, that was probably too much information. In short, I love it.
Thanks for sharing your find. What a precious picture.

Human Nature
By Dorian Holley

The master of voice
The master of dance
The magician whose feet would spin swirls of stardust to shower an audience of millions

He sparked tears
and cries of laughter
He’d light a groove so hard so joyous
so infectious
Angels would beat their wings
and dance on the heads of pins

Those with hearts of children would follow him
Heads bobbing
Shoulders rolling

This was the piper of song

But as strong as he appeared in the beam of the laser’s glare
As majestic
as commanding as he seemed center stage
His open sweet heart was unguarded against the cynical wind of this cold dimension

So
in the end
he landed an impossible point

He folded his thin frame into yet another bone defying
Jaw dropping pop lock contortion
He blew into the microphone a note high
High
Smoke dreamed around him
He took a bow
and exited stage left

The audience
certain he’d return with one last blazing encore
Pounded their hands together screaming:
“We love you, Michael..."
And his delicate voice
A voice like honey
And hammers
offstage
called back:
“I love you more".

I actually took another good look at This Is It last night and I saw alot of energy from Michael. He knew what he wanted musically and still had all the moves though alittle slower. I feel if he would have lived he could have done all the O2 shows-so sad that the world couldn't see it unfold.

I had the same reaction that this was an older, mature MJ that was ready to show the world he hadn't lost his gift to entertain and to perform to the best of his ability. That show was gonna be massive. Seeing it only confirmed that Michael had never lost the will to perform...and live.

I agree 100% that show was gonna be the show of all shows-I think Michael was taken from us-it's sad when you think about it.But he definitely still had "it"

Totally agree. The This Is It shows would have proven to the world that he still had it, the reviews would have been glowing, and the focus would have been where it belonged on the music. Sure the press would have had a field day with his ongoing antics (true and fabricated) but at least the world would have been reminded of his musical talent and ability to put on a show like no other.

Sadly, the achievement he would have achieved with the tour, he also achieved in his passing - with the focus and admiration being laid squarely at the feet of his immense talent.
