People have given me links to programs that will download the videos but the downloads never come out in a format that I can burn onto a DVD and play on the TV. Andy is a four letter word. | |

All you gotta do is convert the files that you download into MP4(I think) and copy them into your DVD. I know some here could give you a much better detailed description than I. My computer won't even play MP4 files, let alone burn them. I think the ones mine burns is WMVs or something (I know very little about this computer shit, they really should make all computers compatible to everything). I did run into one program that converted it to what I needed but it wouldn't burn them, it just saved them in the computer. They really should put all videos as MPEGs or whatever they are called, like those few second porn clips on the internet that you can save. I've burned a ton of those. I don't think so. I could be wrong, though. I see them focusing on FUSE and Centric. From a financial standpoint, it makes sense, but for a person that loves the music video shows (especially the slow jams one) it's not a good thing. Heres the deal folks, the image of "black" america that these networks want, BET,VH1,MTV are the "dumb ass" rapper pouring champagne on girls and smacking their asses, or reality shows by Keyshia the head case or Ray J "in the closet". And blame he public too because they watch it over and over, black and white. I haven't had Vh1 Soul for a couple of years now, but I miss the album release days when they'd have Musiq, or Amel Larrieux for example talking about their new albums and playing their personal top 10 videos.

The cable I have doesn't go that high but I remember they used to preview the channel every so often on this one station in Ann Arbor. It was pretty cool. That being said, I've never heard of a channel being canceled. Will it just go blank on all the cable systems that have it? | |

They've been "cancelling" a lot of channels lately. Most times (depending on your market), they will move some channels around, add a channel that they want to replace it with, or just take it completely off of your lineup. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-
