GEORGE CLINTON & THE P-FUNK ALL-STARS?

So tonight i'm going over to NY to buy tickets for george and 'em at bb kings. its an xmas gift to my mom and aunt. my question is does he still put on a KICK ASS show? my mom loves him but has never seen him live and my aunt saw them live back in the day. i'm pretty into the p-funk myself and this will be my first time seeing them too. so anyone been to any of the recent shows? is it still a crazy experience?
Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!

I saw 'em two summers ago for my first time.

George walked out and he looked absolutely wasted and I thought to myself, uh oh, this doesn't look good but he came alive and it was an awesome show.

I think it will be worth it.

I just saw them last month up in The Bronx. Wasn't their best show, but I blame the venue. B.B. Kings is a much better venue for them, I've seen them there about 3 or 4 times. And yes, they still put on a dynamic show. But pace yourself... they'll be tearing that roof off well into the night!

George is not the ONLY one that's wasted at The Motor Booty Affair. We ALL go down, and won't be coming up for air! stoned

I saw em just about a year ago and it was excellent. They're not super tight... it's a loose, squiggly thing that sometimes takes a minute to find itself. But when it does, it's reeeeal good.

Have a great time!
