She doesn't fit into the category because she has released 2 solo cds.

Oh my god, what are yal putting in the water around here? Didn't I just say in my answer that I don't equate the unplugged album with Miseducation since it isn't a regular studio release or is my mind playing tricks on me?

How is it not a 2nd album? It's an album of original material that hadn't been released before.

If that's the case, PR wouldn't count as a Prince album because it was recorded live.

Whether folks liked it or not, the fact is she released a 2nd album, and it had all sorts of stuff on it, new and old. Plus it was a two disk set. Therefore, she hasn't released just ONE album.

No one's denying that it isn't an album. I just pointed out that it isn't a studio release. Greatest hits, live recordings, and holiday albums are generally grouped in a separate category.

Most music followers including myself don't equate Lauryn's first and only studio album with the unplugged release that came after even if it was all new-material. It wasn't put together in a studio like her debut.

All that aside, the question for the thread is one album, not one studio album.

Forgot about him. I just recently listened to that cd also. They still play "Leave Well Enough Alone" here in Dallas a LOT on the Urban AC stations.

I must find Madame X. I'm a big Bernadette Cooper fan, but never did get with this album.

The Family will soon have two, although the band name has changed, the players have not.

I don't think I'm fimiliar with the last two hmmm Knowing your taste however, I'm intrigued.

not sure the Ian Foster album would be up your street, my reasons for loving it are its Loose Ends connection. The Chimes album is from the early 90's with a Soul II Soul feel & phenomenal vocals from lead singer Pauline Henry
