| @ Sandino, thanks 2 u I somehow found Clarence Carter's "Dr. C.C." album and is playing that sucka.
This was the tape I grew up listening to around age 11. The album took me back to when I would go out eating Taco Bell hearing it.
I didn't even know the song had came out in '86, but I had heard it in my oldies R&B station for years. Even saw Clarence briefly performing "Strokin'" in a commercial for blues hits. This was before I knew this was the same dude who did "Slip Away", "Slipped, Tripped, Fell in Love", "Back Door Santa" and "Patches".
Ironically I thought the album came out in '95, I was like "who would produce '80s beats in '95?" Then I realize it WAS from 1986. OOPS! [Edited 12/16/09 11:13am] | |
