Chris is a good person, but I don't like the album. It's all over the place. Rihanna's album is so solid and her songs mesh so well with eachother. Chris songs just don't cut it for me

I wouldn't know anything about that cuz Rihanna's music, with the exception with like 3 songs, are banned from my iPod lol

lmao. I suggest you sit back and listen to Rated R ONE time.

Chris has to realize career repairs don't happen every six months. He failed himself releasing the album this year. He shouldn't get mad at the stores, people just weren't interested.

I completely agree. The smart thing to do would have been to take at least a year off. Americans have short atttention spans. Him releasing the album so soon after "the incident" and so close to Rihanna's, just put so much focus on "the incident" and the fact that he doesn't seem to realize the extent of his actions. He really needs to fire the people around him especially his PR team.

The only thing I heard was Famous Girl, which basically paints him as the victim--vile shit. I'm guessing most of the public agrees.

First of all Chris how no clue about the industry and how its going now. He's a media star, if he was blacklisted hhis album wouldnt even be carried by stores. This time of year is for artists that have wide appeal, artists that can crossover, not for someone that just punched a female in the face, and now is carrying on like a brat, bitch should be satisfied he is walking around, because if he was joe schmo he would be doing some kind of time. So stop crying Chris, and honestly, you arent that important and DONT have a track record to even be talking about things like this. The fact that all this went down, then we had to hear about it for months and months, andd then we had to see you and rihanna on talk shows, then we had to hear you on interviews and then we get hit with you and a new record. I mean OVER-fucking-KILL, and lets be real, you committed the crime, stop getting upset with the backlash that you caused yourself, OWN UP.

I'd buy 4 copies of Chris Brown's new CD.
Then I could have a nice set of matching coasters for my guests.

Chris aint the only black artist getting screwed over in retail. I hear that Wale's new CD can't even be found in some cities. And I heard similar things about other artists as well.

Well music retail doesnt exist anyway, i walk into Best Buy now and there are new releases that arent even carried, its got nothing to do with Black and White artists, 99% of the locations werent carrying the Hall and Oates release, the Latest Madonna DVD collection was not carried in most locations, etc..so its going all around, Best Buy is cutting their stock 50% next year in music.

And the latest Paulina Rubio, they didnt even have it for a week and when they got it they werent carrying the ltd edition with the dvd, they said "you have to special order it" , and my fave was when i was looking for the 3cd/dvd Collection for the band the Jayhawks, they didnt stock it for a month. This also goes for alot of the dvds of tvshows and movies too.

Pressure

1. Chris is stupid for releasing an album this year, ESPCIALLY so close to rihanna's date.

2. Chris while your crying on twitter, go promote your album. You have YET to do a televised performance of Transformer.

Madhouse

Rude boy and Cold Case Love were the only ones that did it for me..she tried way too hard to be liked in this album.

My thing is that if i wanted to wait a week or so, then what the hell am i doing here? Its really not the retailers fault, its label judging how many to print and then the company spreads the stuff around, but im just saying if a store in Midtown NYC doesnt have a Hall and Oates or Madonna new release, you aint gonna find it
