Same here. I saw Jermaine as trying to be the leader and camera hog, I saw Tito as having the most sense in of the whole family, and I saw Marlon as just being fine as hell and needing to dress a lot skimpier....preferrably in some tight white briefs. lol

BINGO!!! That's the same thing I thought about Jermaine

After Michael's death, when Jermaine was speaking at all the press conferences and going on Larry King all the time, I thought he was probably hit harder than some of the rest of the family because both he and Michael seemed to be the most independent before Janet came along so I could see the two of them sharing that bond. But it was very obvious in the reality show that he was acting, especially the part where he cried explaining why he left the group. After all these years, they've never discussed why he left the group until the cameras were on him? I find that hard to believe. I'm sure they've had that conversation many times before so why was he crying like they were discussing it for the very first time?

I can barely remember what he said because I was laughing at those fake tears. I think I heard him say that he didn't leave Motown because Barry Gordy was his idol and he felt like he would have been betraying him. Hell, he should have just told the damn truth. He was married to his daughter and didn't want to cause friction and tension in his marriage and with his father inlaw.

That conversation was all scripted though because there was even a scene about it in the early 1990s in the movie "The Jacksons: An American Dream" in which I saw Jermaine's name in the opening credits. As many times as they have had that conversation in the past, Jermaine probably responds to them with anger rather than tears for continuously bringing it up. I know that's how I would be.

Jermaine was always the one defending the fam. Everytime Mike was accused or whatever, it was always Jermaine having his back, even Janet, it was JErmaine.

I don't dispute that and I do think he may be the one that's hit harder by his death moreso than the others except for their mother. But I do think he loves the camera also.

Anyone one remember the scene from the show where Marlon and Jackie went to the record store to get some ideas of what producers they should use for their new project and they came across albums from MJ and the Jacksons? I almost cried...

Then it hit Marlon (I believe) that they should have been a multi-billion dollar corporation for themselves. Especially after all of the products that his family has on record shelves. I snickered when he said that.

These folks may have been left out of the will - but they are stacking their chips now thanks to the death of their sibling.
Catalog sales of The Jackson 5 and The Jacksons give these folks more money than they have had in quite a long time. Act are paid at the prevailing royalty rate, and in addition some of them get mechanical royalties for songs they wrote or co-wrote (most during The Jackson years as opposed to the Jackson Five).

Did anyone notice how nice Jermaine's house was? The first thing that popped in my mind was how he was claiming that he was so broke and couldn't pay child support. That was as recently as February.

Jermaine Jackson Claims He Cannot Pay Child Support
February 9th, 2009 11:43am EST Post a comment 2 comments Add to My News

Jermaine JacksonSinger Jermaine Jackson has filed legal papers stating he cannot afford the child support he has been court-ordered to pay.

The Jackson 5 star submitted documents to the Los Angeles County Court on Wednesday that indicate he made just $10,000 in 2008 - and therefore cannot hand over the mandated $3,000-per-month to ex-wife Alejandra Jackson.

The star alleges the current amount is unfair as it was set in 2007 when he had amassed more than $450,000 following his appearance on the U.K. celebrity version of reality show Big Brother.

But the star has since had a "significant change of circumstance", according to the files obtained by TMZ.com, and now only makes $893 per month, rendering him unable to pay for clothes, laundry, groceries and a tutor for his children, Jaafar and Jermajesty.

Jackson has also requested that Alejandra pay his legal fees.

The outside view gave me the impression his house was a dump, by L.A. I'm a member of the Jackson family standards. But the inside was pretty nice. Now Tito's house overall had me like eek Dude's still got money like that? I'm sure his boys help(ed) contribute though.

Interesting show. My take is the following.
All of the brothers seem a bit soft except Tito.
Jermaine really only seems 2 care about himself.
Marlon seems a bit "sweet".
Jackie is way 2 laid back to actually get anything done.

Tito is the MAN of the group.

wasnt said he refused to pay because he couldnt, according to jermaine's ex-babymomma tito stopped paying the tuition because his wife left him, i guess he felt he was hurting her or whatever. michael paid because those are his nephews and he wanted to, his brother didnt ask him to.

i have mixed feeling about jermaine, but i can kinda understand him not wanting to pay that alejandra chick, her ass is living with his mother.he did try to get custody of his 2 sons and its been reported that he gives his oldest son money directly but not the mother. mrs jackson has gone to court to get her out of the house but the jufge always sides with the babymother for some reason.

The same Jermaine who refused to wish his kids "happy Birthday"? Jermaine is a younger version of Joe and that is the reason as to why he was his old man's favorite child.

Don't be so naive. Tito could afford expensive cars and toys yet he couldn't pay his for his sons' education? Jermaine's ex wife STATED IN HER BOOK, DIRECTLY, that Tito was NOT a responsible father. His wife left him? HE CHEATED ON HIS WIFE IN FRONT OF HER. He left his wife, not the contrary you blind mouse. Nobody asked Michael to pay, because nobody gave a shit about the kids' education. They asked him to pay for their Rolls Royces...they didn't ask him to pay for their kids' education because they didn't care enough about it.

That doesn't mean he doesn't have money. I heard that Marlon made a few bad business deals (which would make sense to file for bankruptcy). Business people do that all of the time and still better than most of us.
