Rubbish. You can't compare those things to Propofol abuse.

This is all so redundant, the man is gone. What does it matter now?

You're saying this since he's dead, and when will you understand that just because he's dead it's still allowed to discuss unpleasant topics about MJ's life?

A truly beautiful, touching and funny interview with John Landis.

i don´t even know what to think of those fans boycotting the movie. I am going to see it. I don´t care who´s gonna make money off this. Mike´s kids will definately earn some money on this and I will be happy to support them. I just wanna see Mike and what he was preparing for us and appreciate his genius. I know Mike wouldn´t wanna show us rehearsals that he did not feel were "perfect" being the perfectionist he was, but I don´t need to be dazzled to appreciate the film. I just love him and I wanna see him ALIVE again.

I try not to think about his death and figure out theories about why he died and blame people, I´m over that already. It would drive me crazy and it wouldn´t bring him back anyway. I am just trying enjoy whatever I can about him including this film.

I'm still not going, i just feel it is too soon. I'll wait for the DVD,
I think it's entirely possible haters might be in attendance talking shit at the cinema, and purposefully ruining the experience. Could you imagine the poignant ending being ruined? that would suck.

Could cause fatalities, folks attacking folks. i see it happening. confused

yeah, believe me,there will be. There were haters and hecklers at the memorial as well. And you better believe it, I will bust a bitch's ass if they try to talk shit during his movie. boxing

You make it seem like Magic was garbage. Remember Jordan beat OLD Magic in 1991. That wasn't 1987 Prime Magic. Prime Magic used to pimp slap Jordan. Check the 1987 Regular season game at Chicago. My point is it's two totally different styles. Magic was great but his game is primarily from the floor and Jordan's style was more above the rim with more athletesism.

Usher uses certain choregraphy that i don't think Michael would even attempt because it requires you to really have to be be fit and in shape to do it.

As for Usher learns all of his dance steps. How do you know that for sure?

It's not like MJ's own steps are all that hot. Outside of his choregraphy MJ's dancing is repeated over and over. The same steps.

I see what you're saying with the Magic/Jordan comparison, but the issue with choreo....

If you watch the dancers who have choreographed for Usher, the original concept is the same steps he's doing in his performances. There's not much of HIS own style as it is theirs. Check out Rich and Tone's choreography. They've worked with both Usher and Michael, and they choreographed some of of Usher's performances, and you'll see how much is theirs and how much is his

Michael crafted his own style years ago. He had his trademarks and his signatures. That's what all dancers do after time, they find their own identity and build upon it

Usher hasn't found his yet. He's good, but he's still a blank canvas

I think majority of ppl just like to give the edge to older era's weather it's a discussion about boxing and comparing fighters from the past to now and many always favor the older era cause they grew up in it or comparing Michael Jordan to Kobe and ppl automatically say are u kidding me Kobe aint on MJ's level. But if you go to youtube and really analyze MJ through whole games you will see he had problems dribbling left and went right pretty much all the time and the shooting guards back then were 6-3, 6-4 in height. Kobe is a much better ball handler it's really not even close there ball handling abilities. MJ was better operating from the post and mid range jumper was consistent. Kobe has great ball handling, post game, mid range game and 3 point game in his arsenal and faces longer, taller more athletic players and still lights them up. Kobe would have dropped 80 on 6-3 Joe Dumars who gave MJ problems. He's to short. Kobe would shoot over him with ease.

Don't mean to turn this in to sports debate but i was just using a example of how some ppl just favor older era's cause they grew up in it. MJ and Usher's styles are completely different but i think Usher's is more hip and his dance moves are more what brotha's would use in a current club. More hip hiop style dance steps and up to date.

To me, there´s something magical about MJ´s dancing. He danced with such a grace and precision. I can´t even put it into words.

Damn, I can´t stop listening to that poem. His voice just hypnotises me.

Yeah, South Park is absolute genius.

The bit that had me rolling was the ghost hunters skit! "Ghost Hunters. Its the gayest show on fu***ng TV" i didn't expect that at all and i lost my mind. Then all the things proceeding it, "What was that!?". Too funny. Been a great season.

I think there are 2 different versions.

This one.. http://www.amazon.com/Thi...356&sr=8-1

You just get the CD set.

and then there is the Limited One..

http://www.amazon.com/Mic...356&sr=8-4

where you get the 2 CD set,and a poster. Both i believe come with the 36 page booklet.

I order the limited edition one directly from michaeljackson.com smile

i wish i could be as optomistic as you about that. already the family is muscling in to try to exercise control of the estate. even if they aren't successful in removing branca, they will be successful in preying upon mj's kids in the same way they preyed upon mj. i believe one of the reasons for mj's constant need for money - as expressed by sony, so take with grain of salt - didn't always have to do with him. he may have been a spendthrift, but when you also have family members who also expect to maintain your lifestyle, there's going to be trouble. that alleged $300 mil debt didn't come from him alone.

madonna's family doesn't live the way she does. why? because *she* made her money, therefore she gets to live off of the fruits of *her* efforts and she doesn't feel obligated to fly her extended family in private jets around the world or maintain a rock star lifestyle for them. i'm sure she helps within reason, but that's the extent of it. that's not the way it is with mj's family. you got ex-wives and children at havenhurst that mj felt obligated to provide for and they're still there now. mj's kids' cousins are now used to a life of dependency, and like any type of generational 'welfare' they're going to feel entitled to everything that prince, paris, and blanket have.

no, if someone doesn't step in between that family and those kids, expect their lives to turn out as sad as their father's. neutral

his mother was left 40% of his estate and she has every right to wanna be included in whatever decisions are made.i hate how people try to disregard the jackson family like michael wasnt part of them,my feelings is if he woulda stayed close to his family instead of collecting all these shady characters that surrounded him he most likely would still be here today.how are they 'preying' on the kids when mike left the kids in his mother care? katherine has 8 other kids and god knows how many grandkids so if mj had a problem with his kids being with his family he damn sure wouldnt have left them with mrs jackson.its sad that people wanna ax his family out like they had nothing to do with who he became, a few generations from now there may be nothing that links mj to the black community, his blood jackson family is part of his legacy.

first of all, their dad's life was not sad. He inspired the world, brought to it beauty n joy. Now to the point - i find it hilarious, the speculation about the Jacksons money, wealth. You don't know ANYTHING about their finances. The Jackson brothers are still getting royalties for their music. They are not broke. Janet is loaded and has no kids. They are a dynasty. What makes you think the brother's children wont grow up and become lawyers, doctors, engineers, etc. They will educate their children. Why would u use the term 'welfare'? Sounds racist to me. That entire family deserve to be wealthy. Of course, Never as much as Michael's kids, and that won't happen. but they are part of a dynasty. Katherine has 40% n if u think she's not goinng to invest those hundreds of millions to benefit all of her kids then you don't know black mothers. You said someone should step in between those kids and that family. Well THAT family happens to be Prince, Paris, and Blankets family. Who's going to protect them better than their grandmother?

yes, welfare. when mj set up this situation of allowing his brothers to exploit him he taught his nieces and nephews that they can be dependent on him, not their own fathers, but him. just like a lot of men in the black community who have abandoned their responsibilities because the government has stepped in to do the job that they should be doing, mj had stepped in to do the job that his brothers should be doing. i have read that mj was responsible for educating some of his brothers' children. i'd be happy to hear if any of them have become accomplished doctors or lawyers, but i don't think that's the case.

katherine will get 40% of the profits from the estate during her lifetime. due to the debts on the estate, there may be no profits for a while. good for her if she gets money to invest, but given the fact that she and her husband racked up debts totalling $25million dollars in their bankruptcy a few years ago, in spite of mj giving her money during his lifetime, it would appear she does not have the intellect to do that.

the brothers would not be involved in doing a reality series if they had money. that's what you do when you have no money. randy himself took that shot at his brothers (tmz website). you don't go running to brit tabs for a check to sell your brother's like everyone else (latoya, tito, marlon). jermaine has said in court papers that he is broke.

no one in this life deserves anything. mj made his money and he had a right to dictate where it should go, period.

on edt: yes, mj's life was sad. he spoke at great length of his loneliness, and he clearly felt there were few people in his family to whom he could turn or wanted to.

i wish i could be as optomistic as you about that. already the family is muscling in to try to exercise control of the estate. even if they aren't successful in removing branca, they will be successful in preying upon mj's kids in the same way they preyed upon mj. i believe one of the reasons for mj's constant need for money - as expressed by sony, so take with grain of salt - didn't always have to do with him. he may have been a spendthrift, but when you also have family members who also expect to maintain your lifestyle, there's going to be trouble. that alleged $300 mil debt didn't come from him alone.

madonna's family doesn't live the way she does. why? because *she* made her money, therefore she gets to live off of the fruits of *her* efforts and she doesn't feel obligated to fly her extended family in private jets around the world or maintain a rock star lifestyle for them. i'm sure she helps within reason, but that's the extent of it. that's not the way it is with mj's family. you got ex-wives and children at havenhurst that mj felt obligated to provide for and they're still there now. mj's kids' cousins are now used to a life of dependency, and like any type of generational 'welfare' they're going to feel entitled to everything that prince, paris, and blanket have.

no, if someone doesn't step in between that family and those kids, expect their lives to turn out as sad as their father's. neutral

his mother was left 40% of his estate and she has every right to wanna be included in whatever decisions are made.i hate how people try to disregard the jackson family like michael wasnt part of them,my feelings is if he woulda stayed close to his family instead of collecting all these shady characters that surrounded him he most likely would still be here today.how are they 'preying' on the kids when mike left the kids in his mother care? katherine has 8 other kids and god knows how many grandkids so if mj had a problem with his kids being with his family he damn sure wouldnt have left them with mrs jackson.its sad that people wanna ax his family out like they had nothing to do with who he became, a few generations from now there may be nothing that links mj to the black community, his blood jackson family is part of his legacy.

you know what i hate? people who don't know how to abide by someone else's will.

no, katherine has NO RIGHT to know about anything having to do with mj's estate. why? because mj did not make her an executor. she has a right to the public documents, and she can challenge the executors *if* she has any proof of wrongdoing. but she's trying to challenge the will itself so that the family can be in charge of the estate, something that mj did not want.

the reasons they are doing this have to do with money, not mj's legacy or their black roots. brian oxman, their mouthpiece (white, since you've chosen to bring race into this), has been disparaging mj all over the media and his black "family" has said nothing, so that tells you where the jacksons stand with regard to mj.

on edit: i mean, oxman has been mouthing off about how mj's kids are not his kids. whatever their true biology, they were mj's kids by any measure that means anything. so what kind of 'loving' grandmother or family would allow this asshole on t.v. to speak about them with such contempt? is it because the jacksons themselves don't consider these kids 'real jacksons' and that's why they're allowing oxman to speak on their behalf? ever thought about that?

shady? you mean like leonard rowe who had judgments against him for fraud involving usher and r kelly, and who has accompanied joe to estate hearings? shady like randy who tried to beat mj out of the atv catalog a few years ago when he was at his lowest point and only the wise counsel of ron burkle stopped mj from signing the papers that randy was trying to get him to sign? you mean like joe, katherine and jermaine who have judgments against them to this day for promising to deliver mj at a concert in so. korea and but who took the investors money and spent it? there's a claim against mj's estate for that shit right now. jermaine was also at the root of that case against mj involving that guy who got hold of the family's possessions. jermaine had gone into business with this man, took his money, and defaulted on the resulting lawsuit. the man got possession of some stuff in a storage locker, and mj had to sue to try to get it back, but not before the man tried to sue mj because he couldn't get at jermaine.

yeah, tell me some more about shady.

so yes, i stand by my assertion that the family is trying to get control of this estate for their own sakes, which they have no right to do, and it will have far reaching repercussions for mj's kids. yes, there will be preying upon them for money. katherine is testing the will to get more money for HER children, not mj's. and if she doesn't succeed (and she won't for reasons too numerous to go into) there will be massive pressure placed upon those kids to provide for everyone in that family for everything, just like their dad. they will be manipulated just like mj was.

not only did mj have a soft spot for his mother, he had a blind one, too. i suppose he felt he could leave him with her if worse came to worse, but notice she's the only one in the family that he chose to put his kids with. his second choice was outside the family.
