I wish he would perform sex therapy on me.

That was quick but I'll take it anyway. The day has come for him to be free, and he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves, "I'm alive and I'm here forever."

That's what I was thinking! He was JUST here with Jennifer Hudson earlier this year (like spring time) promoting his last album. However, his discography on Wikipedia says this: * A Beautiful World (2003) * The Evolution of Robin Thicke (2006) * Something Else (2008) * Sex Therapy (2009) So I guess he has a new one coming. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don“t like the idea that he could have it all."

Another album already? Dang the last one just came out a year ago. On Beyonce being "the next MJ"....: The J5 Motown audition tape alone runs Yonce and that horseweave off the Kentucky derby track.

I guess he was unsatisfied with his last album's sales, but hey if it's all for releasing new output, more power to him on his hustle.

Yeah well, let's see if its going to sound like anything. The last album was okay, but the Evolution of Robin Thicke was better. I hope this one won't sound like a rush job. Who says that? Prince releases an album every year until recent years. Was that because he was unsatisfied w/ sales? Ernest L Sewell, IV

Who says that? Prince releases an album every year until recent years. Was that because he was unsatisfied w/ sales? I'm not trying to say that's the reason, lol It's a thought. He could be releasing it just to be releasing it like Prince, lol

If people don't have personal or label problems or make conscious efforts to take time off, the span between album releases is getting shorter and shorter and even moreso for those that have a lot of material at the ready or love working. The day has come for him to be free, and he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves, "I'm alive and I'm here forever."

his songs are starting to sound way way too much alike. the last one lacked any of the creativity that his first two had. this new song sounds just as derivative. i'm gonna pass. Power tends to corrupt and absolute power corrupts absolutely.

God you're confusing! I think the man just writes a lot of music, and wants it out there. That simple. Not sure if I totally like the song, but it's decent. It might grow on me. Ernest L Sewell, IV

Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake need to get a style of their own.

What is working for Prince is not necessarily gonna work for them. It sounds kinda Princey.... oh for fuck's sake, that IS their style. Everyone is going to sound like someone at some point! Prince has sounded like Rick James and Santana more than he's sounded like himself at times! He's sounded like (and played) Sly Stone and James Brown more than himself at times. Just because someone makes soul/R&B music, sings in a falsetto and writes another great sex ballad doesn't mean they're stealing Prince's style. Prince has borrowed more than he's created, moreso in live shows. All those fills, hand gestures, "turn it around!" calls, etc? You think he created that stuff? Go listen to Sly records. Go listen to Earth Wind & Fire. Go listen to James Brown stuff. SO much you'll find you've heard before. Ernest L Sewell, IV

This album should be interesting.Robin worked with some new,up and coming producers on several tracks. He's aiming for an edgier sound on the uptempo tracks.
