Imogen Heap - Ellipse

Oh.My.Goodness.

This just came out today - and it is wonderful. Totally worth the wait. I'm still digesting, but this will definitely be one of my favorite albums of the year. cool

Anyone else have a listen yet?

I pre-ordered from Itunes, the special edition. It comes with the instrumentals. heart

Imogen's stuff takes awhile to fully take shape in my brain, but do like what I've heard so far.

Nice album cover and booklet!

I pre-ordered from iTunes, too. Haven't had a chance to look at the booklet yet, but I've made it all the way through the album. (Sometimes it's nice having a longish commute.)

My favorite track so far is Bad Body Double. Super clever track - and there isn't a woman alive who won't relate to it. lol

This project is so cool.

I mean, the way that Imogen Heap had fans contribute in a major way to the entire project.. from lyrical ideas and musical suggestions, to the photography within the booklet. Really thoughtful and brilliant, especially considering that pretty much everything thriving is online.

The middle is really standing out, although it's all good.

Her sound is so lush and ornate!

I agree. This album gets better with every listen. I felt at first that it wasn't as good as "Speak for Yourself," but now that it's gelling for me my only complaint is that it's so damn short. And several of the songs cut off right when they're getting started. A few minutes could have easily been added to several of the songs.

Hello All smile

Ellipse, a great album ! original songs, beautiful melodies biggrin It is on constant loop on my iPod.

I'm a little sad though confused I bought the download version from Amazon last week, I did not know iTunes has the digital booklet with thier download.
