It's "Head" with a little "Sexy Dancer" and some cheesey lyrics thrown in, They went all out with a total rip and didn't give a crap, I love it! [Edited 8/8/09 8:30am]

holla! Check out the recent Kwick-topic. Together with the Bar-Kays, Chocolate Milk and Ebonee Webb, those 4 groups were all produced around those years by the late Allen A. Jones. Ebonee Webb is the only of those 4 with a high-pitched singer (Chico), sounding like Prince.

Though a few years later than Ebonee Webb and the other mentioned groups here, the band "QT Hush" had some Mnpls-sounding grooves, produced by Teena Marie. Their album came out around 1985 on Epic (CBS) :

I've been reading their name for years on the org, but it was this thread and that thread that really made me stream their songs.
I ended up picking up their 1981 album! It is SO GOOD! Thanks org! (excuse the chest, it was like 86 degrees today)
