Tupac "Makaveli" Shakur (RIP 1971-1996) & Michael Jackson (RIP 1958-2009)
2 men that had their lives taken away the moment they were speaking out AND rebelling against the dark side of the music industry once too often.

I googled it, and found a thread at some funk forum, http://www.funkhome.com/r...t1668.html Looks like they had TWO albums in the late seventies. Never seen either one of them, though. It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

So, apparently, there are four albums Well, the two 80s albums are the only ones I've ever come by. Their self-titled effort (the one with the red cover) is easy to find, and yea, you should definitely pick it up It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I posted the video on the org back in March after i bought their self titled album. Apparently the user on youtube removed the video. Damn that song is funky. It kind of had a Yarborough & Peoples feel to it. [Edited 6/16/09 23:03pm] Bone made me stand up and get into the groove

It makes sense.....because they were discovered by & produced by THE BAR-KAYS!!!!!, whose 70's/80's material was 90% BITTEN!!!!! They "swagger jacked" SOOOOO many artists it should be a CRIME!!!!! Prince was no exception.....

Prince was no exception..... Ebonee Webb was not produced by the BarKays. Ebonee Webb was produced by Allen Jones who also produced the barkays. Allen Jones also produced another 80's obscure band Kwick. In fact, Barkays keyboardist Winston Stewart is the only member who played on Ebonee Webb albums. Now whether or not they discovered Ebonee Webb and introduced them to Allen Jones i'm not sure. Bone made me stand up and get into the groove

Allen Jones was the "Invisible Bar-Kay" as far as i'm concerned And seeing that 90% of the Bar-Kays material in the 70's/80's was "direct rip-offs" of something else..... PUT TWO and TWO TOGETHER!!!!! "Something About You"= "Soft And Wet" .....I REST MY CASE!!!!! In the end....they fall under the "Bar-Kays Umbrella"!!!!!
