I know...isn't he like the last Legend. I can't think of anyone else that's bigger than him...maybe it's because I'm in my 20's.....besides Prince.

There is no one besides Prince...that's what's so sad sad

There are a lot of icons and legends still remaining, difference is there was only ONE Michael Jackson, so when you look at it like that, it's weird.

Oh, my Bboy. comfort

I didn't think I'd react like this, but I can't help but feel this sadness. I told you and JackieBlue, it's not the kind of love fans have for a rock star, but it's a GENUINE love, like a best friend, and that's how I feel today. I feel like I lost my best friend and the more I think about it, the tears keep coming...

I didn't think I would either but I keep getting teary. Even my sons are saying he was kind of like a family member. I keep reminding my oldest of the time he met him and the memory cheered him up a little.

Y'know, I thought that I wouldn't be able to listen to his music or watc hios videos for a while, but here I am singing and dancing to every Michael song on my I-Pod (and there's a shitload of 'em). I'm doing this, and I realize that I don't feel like he's gone at all. I guess it hit me that what I really loved about MJ was his spirit, and that's always gonna be present in the music. So, while it'll be hard for me (and his family, friends and millions of fans) to deal with the fact that he will no longer be here in the flesh, his spirit will still be here, vibrant as ever.

Someone said that they felt more for the kids and his family than Michael, and I was like, "Well Michael can't feel anything, so that's kind of a moot point to feel bad for him," but ANYWAYS (lol)...I do feel for the family he's left behind. I pray for them and hope that people don't forget about them in during this tragic time, especially his parents. I can't imagine how it feels to bury a child and hope I never have to, but again, my prayers are with them.
Honey, stop talking and just create the music.

I am really shocked and sad by the news of his death right now. I really liked MJ. I really liked his persona and music. It actually hurts. Childhood memories. This pain is real. I feel for him. He did some things and had his problems But in the end the music remains. The emotion stays and on forever.

The end of an era. As some say John lennon's passing was the end of an era. The 1960's

I feel this is an end of an era late 70s and 1980's. Youth is gone. We have grown. He has fell silent. Remember of dreams, summertime and something else. I will mourn this loss for a while.

When I was about 14 years old, I dreamt that I was onstage with him, and he leaned over and kissed me on the lips. That kiss was so magical, I kid you not. I didn't want to wake up love They say all good things must come to an end, and that includes him sad

I won't blame anybody for MJ's death, but it doesn't take a PhD degree to realize that he had alot of human demons hanging around him.

I sincerely hope that Prince look at this siutation and learn from it, considering that he TOO have alot of opportunists hanging around who're doing him harm than good.

Did you hear what Brian Oxman said? That we will ifnd MJ's situation was far worse than Anna Nicole's. eek He said the family has been trying for months to protect Michael from his enablers.

Yep, that pic of him being wheeled into the ambulance was horrible and tacky. Who wants to see that?

About Joe Jackson, Michael seemed to of made peace with him many years ago. Maybe Joe is to blame for some of what happened to him, but Iam in a way Mike seemed to of forgiven him (or so it seemed).

Iam gonna wear my white socks to work today LOL. Not meant to, and I know some assholes will say "who cares about Mike?", but thats all I can think of doing. Bit crap, but I gotta pay my respect somehow.

To Michael, thanks man for everything you gave to me and to this world. You'll always have a place in my heart and you'll always be an inspiration. Peace.

Could someone please paraphrase what Sharpton said.

Anderson and some other CNN guy were talking about the people in Jackson's camp and how other than his two lead attorneys, the rest of the people were hanger-ons (actually, they used some more derogatory terms). Brafman came on later and said that Jackson was "shielded, but not protected".

Off the Wall & Thriller are mandatory for any R&B record collection. Mandatory.
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.
