Man, I had forgotten how great this performance was. It makes me wonder what happened to creativity in stage performances for pop artists. You don't see this anymore. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

That performance is incredible....totally over-the-top and campy.One of the most memorable MTV award show performances. | |

Despite it being a total lip sync (and she's always lip synced "Vogue", stating the vocal was so perfect, she could never duplicate it live, and didn't want to try), it was a great performance. The titty squeezin', the crotch grabbing, the FOPS in full force. Great time.
I remember a year or two before, she came out and sang some new song called "Express Yourself", and did this dance with just two backup singers and dancers, and rocked the MFing house. I was NUTS over that. I couldn't wait for the album, the singles, etc etc. | |

I remember seeing this for the first time. This elevated my fandom in a big way. One of the fiercest performances and a personal all time favorite. I even love her dress getting stepped on. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

I couldn't wait for the album, the singles, etc etc. That performance of 'express yourself' rocked, dancing was amazing - im pretty sure it was 87 - prince had also done Sign of the Times & Play in the Sunshine Vogue was fantastic too |
