Excelent new album by Karen O and the Guys. Bound to both win them new fans and lose those that can't stomach the new direction.

Personally, I like the change. Not ground breaking by any means. But in the end the songs are good, and the production sounds new & fresh, while still sounding like the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. In some ways the new sound highlights Karen O's under-rated voice in a way that the punky distorted sound couldn't.

Any fans? What do we think?

The new Album is amazing. I really think it is their best yet. People who don't appreciate good song writing will not liek this because they have definitely grown as musicians. So damn good! I'm surprised someone mentioned it here, usually I see a bunch of topics on bad music.

finally checked this out yesterday . i was a bit bothered at first by the "new sound" , but it won me over by the end . they've always done all kindsa freaky shit. why they're so kewl . karen's voice is just too and purty and i can almost never understand wtf she be talking about, but hell if it don't sound awesome and the music funky as shit . gonna have to bump it a few times more to really wrap my brain around it, but i was digging it . decent

It's pretty great. And yeah, the sound bothered me at first, seemed kind of limp or something. But after playing Zero and Heretic a couple of times, I'm totally hooked

I love it. It's a contender for album of the year! "Zero" is simply euphoric and the entire album is tight.

I haven't picked it up yet, but I am sorta interested.
