OK, so Chris just choke her and threaten to kill her according to Rihanna?

Rihanna to Cops: Chris Brown Threatened to Kill Me

Earlier today, the Los Angeles district attorney asked police detectives to dig up more evidence for their case against Chris Brown.

The police are getting cooperation from Rihanna, and what she has told them so far is chilling.

A source close to the investigation tells E! News exclusively that Rihanna has alleged to police that Brown choked her while threatening to kill her and, subsequently, she lost consciousness.

They began squabbling after leaving Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party late Saturday. Shortly after midnight, things blew up. Brown pulled his silver Lamborghini to the side of a street in L.A.'s Hancock Park neighborhood. That's when, per the source, Rihanna grabbed the car keys and tossed them out the window, sending Brown into a rage.

He tried in vain to find the keys, then came back to the car, put his hands around her neck and, according to the insider, said, "I'm going to kill you!"

According to the source, the 20-year-old "Disturbia" singer told police that she lost consciousness, and when she awoke, Brown had fled.

According to the source, her right eye was blackened and badly swollen and she had hand prints on her arms. The responding officers were so concerned about her, they drove Rihanna to the hospital in their squad car instead of waiting for an ambulance.

Officers took two sets of photographs of the banged-up singer, one at the scene and the second after she was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment. Those photos were presumably among the evidence presented to the district attorney.

After being treated for her injuries, police escorted her down a rear elevator and into a waiting Mercedes, the source says.

Brown, 19, was subsequently booked on suspicion of making criminal threats. He was released after posting $50,000 bail.

His lawyer, Mark Geragos, has not responded to repeated requests for comment on the allegations. Brown's publicist also has not commented.

A spokeswoman for Rihanna declined to comment specifically on details of the fight and the arrest and stuck to her earlier statement from Sunday: "Rihanna is well. Thank you for concern and support."

Chris Brown, RiRi and Keshia Chante - The FIGHT

So according to ALLHIPHOP.COM, this is the real story...

TODAY'S RUMORS!

HERE ARE SOME FACTS BEFORE THE RUMORS

- Rihanna is working with the police to go hard at Chris Brown legally

- She reportedly suffered a split lip, contusions on her head, bite marks and a bloody nose.

- Cops reportedly have “devastating proof of abuse."

- Chris Brown was NOT in a low-speed car chase with LAPD

WHO IS THE “GIRL” THAT IS CHRIS BROWN’S NEW BABY BOO?

I said it once and I’ll say it again. I don’t ask for much with these rumors, but this time I am requesting that you give AllHipHop.com and illseed credit for this. We’re damn near going crazy over this stuff. With that, I continue my search for the facts in the midst of these rumors.

Keshia Chante. This is the girl that is allegedly the new object of Chris Brown’s desire. I am told that she was held up in questioning for 6 hours by the cops. Now, people on the Chris Brown side of things are very worried that Keshia might confirm what Rihanna has already told police – that the R&B star hit her. From what I understand, Chris has been dating Keshia for a while now and that he even used to date her a few years back.

But, who is Keshia Chante? You know her.

She is a Canadian singer in her own right, but she is known as the girl that is going to be playing Aaliyah in the new movie about the deceased love of my life. They are saying she actually called the cops when she saw “blood flying,” as one of my sources said. I heard Chris Breezy has a pretty prominent mark on his neck from Rihanna scratching him.

Two years ago Keshia gave Chris this special message.

Here they go and they get to flirting and Chris admits that he wanted her number.

CHRIS BROWN LEFT RIHANNA?

Well, now my rumor blood is really flowing right now. I have to get down to the gritty grit. If you didn't see, yesterday I gave you a comprehensive rundown of what allegedly happened with Chris Brown and Rihanna. Click here for that breakdown, because I put my all into that.

Here is today's rundown from another source. Remember, these rumors are especially interesting, because they all come from different places, but are surprisingly consistent.

According to unverified sources, Rihanna and Chris Brown broke up two weeks ago. Rihanna didn't want to break up with Chris, but he was reportedly done with her. Management forced him to act "lovey" for the Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party. He didn't want to. Rihanna's publicist, in confidence, asked him to the same. He agreed. They attended the Clive Davis party together. Management allegedly asked for Chris to drive with Rihanna in his car after the event was over for paparazzi pictures.

According to my sources, Rihanna started acting like they were in a relationship still, not realizing that it was indeed completely over. Chris told her he wasn't really with her, it was for publicity and that she needed to get it through her head that it was over. Adding insult to injury - like my previous source said - Chris picked up a girl he had a date with that night WHILE Rihanna was in the car. So, the girl was in the car like a third WHEEL.

It would appear that Chris has completely moved on from Rihanna from this new girl. My source tells me that Chris was actually acting very childish for doing his in front of Rihanna. Suddenly, Rihanna snapped and that's the situation got crazy, my sources say. Rihanna allegedly punched Chris in the face while she was screaming, and then he hit started hitting her back. Noticing there was blood, somebody called 911 and my sources say "the girl" is the one that made that call.

WHAT NOW? RIHANNA GOES HOME...?
As of right now, Rihanna's headed to Barbados, I am getting from people. Not sure, because I heard she’s working with police. Chris is being flown out so things can settle a bit. They say he’s in Vegas now. The other "girl,” allegedly Keshia Chante – has been questioned by the label people to get her mind right, so to speak. Both Rihanna and Chris’ teams are trying to get her to side with them. If she testifies as an eyewitness saying Rihanna was the injured party, she could put Chris in jail for a maximum of 12 years. If the girl testifies stating Rihanna indeed made the first punch and if Chris' attorneys can spin it in court, Chris can get off his charges all together. A lot is at stake.

Also, my sources are saying that, there's proof lingering around and Rebel One Management (Rihanna's team) is trying to stop it from leaking to the media. People are reportedly bracing for the worse in this matter, legally and otherwise. Rihanna's team doesn't want her to press charges, as it could possibly damage her name and career. So far, looks like she is going to work with the coppers. The LA Times is saying this already so any notion that she isn’t is likely FALSE.

WHEW - That was a lot!

Later in the day, I’ll have more BS for you.

Chris Brown being dropped from radio playlists and losing gigs, is it fair?

Singer Chris Brown has lost his big money endorsement deals with Wrigley gum and I Got Milk, plus he has been dropped from the NBA All-Star game activities this week and a Valentine's Day show. To add to his woes, many radio stations have decided to remove his music from their station playlists.

What do you think? Has the court of public opinion already judged Brown guilty and his career is now tanked?

Here another post on the same thing.... biggrin

Of course it's "fair" - you beat on a woman, you suffer the consequences.

He knows he's a public figure yet he still couldn't control himself.

Karma.

Some fool posted this in another thread...now tell me what message is this sending out to young women...if your a woman you can hit a guy as the law is on your side?...no one should be hitting anyone....

There is so much back tracking on this site...if your wrong your wrong..that's it... confused

Gee, life's not fair.shrug Come on the fame/music game today is, artist don't only sing for their supper they generate revenue by endorsing products. Along with that comes the whole "image" deal. All endorsement contract have moral clauses. Due process in a court of law is a moote point. When an artist/athelte causes embrassment to a corpoaration(s), they can drop you like a bad habit. In the States more women listen to (music) radio than men. It comes down to, do you want to offend you cash cow, your demographic? Do you want to be seen supporting an artist by purchasing time? You've become a pain in the ass, a liability.. potentially costing that compony money.

Text Message Ignites Rihanna/Brown Violence
Posted Feb 11th 2009 11:15AM by TMZ Staff

Law enforcement sources confirm to TMZ Chris Brown received a text message from a woman while he was driving with Rihanna and that's what started the confrontation that left Rihanna battered and bruised.

We're told the text message was from a woman who wrote about hooking up with Brown later.

We've also learned there is a reference in the police report to an argument over a rapper, but we've learned this is NOT what triggered the argument. The woman who text messaged Brown is not a rapper.

As for Rihanna's injuries, we continue to learn more. Cops took multiple pictures at the scene. Chris Brown allegedly hit Rihanna so hard with his fists, she could barely open her eyes for the photos -- they were almost completely swollen shut. She had a fat lip, her mouth was swollen, her nose was badly bloodied, and she had contusions on her forehead and both sides of her face.

And check this contrast out (video on right) -- Chris Brown singing a song about reading street signs with Elmo on "Sesame Street."

This was posted on top of my Mozilla Firefox 3 browser:

Artists React to Chris Brown and Rihanna Incident

The incident with R&B vocalists Chris Brown and Rihanna has caused a major wrinkle within the music industry. The two innocent young artists have been the topic of discussion amongst industry icons, friends, and family. It seems to have upset practically everyone as they speak out to the media and express their feelings.

Kanye West recently spoke to Ryan Seacrest about the incident between the two R&B vocalists, these were his comments:

“I was completely devastated by the concept of what I heard, I was completey devastated during the performance. All I will say is its so devastating. I feel like, just as a person, I don't care how famous she is, or even if she worked at McDonald's; that should have never happened. It should have never come to that place.”

West told Seacrest that he recently saw them at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala that Saturday night prior to the Grammy’s. He states that he knows Rihanna really well since they went on tour together, he is close to her like a sister:

“I know Rihanna a bit better because I went on tour with her and we vibed out on a lot of creative ideas with the touring. I gave her all these references of Grace Jones and [photographer] Jean-Paul Goude, back in the '80s when pop stars took it to a whole 'nother level. I felt and feel like Rihanna is so important to our culture, to pop music. I feel that she is the most important artist in music and has the most potential. For her taste level at her age and the songs she does and her style. She has the potential to be the greatest artist of all time. In that sense, I feel like she's my baby sis, and I would do any and everything to help her in any situation.”

This past Monday, T.I. spoke to Carson Daly about the incident and added that he spoke to Chris and kept him calm:

I spoke to him today, he's cool, you know. He's a little concerned about the situation, but he's still the same Chris. I told him, 'This too shall pass.' We're celebrities, we're entertainers, but we're still human — all of us. Don't expect us not to make mistakes, because we will.”

After speaking with Carson Daly, he released a statement to MTV News and sent his sympathy to the both of them:

“After careful consideration, I realized I made the mistake of commenting before understanding the situation. I myself am no stranger to media scrutiny. My only intention was to support both Rihanna and Chris during these times. My heart goes out to both of them.”

Legendary R&B vocalist Lionel Richie who’s no stranger to the media and domestic violence spoke on the matter involving Chris and Rihanna and gave advisement to them on how to handle the situation:

“You'll go through adversity, you're gonna have it. You're gonna have difficulty. Stand up, face it. Look right in the camera, say, 'Yes, I did it,' then back out of it. Keep going. That's all you can do. Because now, there's no more secrets. You can't hide anything anymore. You can't get away now, analyzing how much the media has changed over the past two decades. It took a minute when you could practice your integrity thing; you could practice your mistakes, before the world even heard about it. Now, whatever mistake you make, it's out there. It's a different kind of vibe. I wouldn't want to deal with it right now, not learning the business and life at the same time with that thing [camera] pointing at you every five minutes. All I can say is it's here, it's now, deal with it.”

Speculations are swarming that Jay-Z is infuriated with Chris Brown for attacking Rihanna and basically everything has hit the roof. Hov has mentored Rihanna since the beginning, he was the reason Def Jam signed her to the label. As a matter of fact everything is hitting the fan for Chris Brown as he recently lost all of his endorsements and his ratings an R&B artist is declining fast.

Well that's true, his career went- blowup Once again the double standard everyone (including me) thought that shit was funny when it happened. It has worked the other way and people that are violent get more spins from getting into heaps of shit mess. I think it's fine he doesn't get played. Getting radio airplay, being a movie star, pop star etc.. it is kind of like driving a car. It is a privilege not a right.

Why worry about some rich ass clown getting radio spins when tens of thousands of innocent people are losing jobs daily? These are harsh times - watch and learn.

So now there are reports that Miss Fenty smacked the shit out of Mr. Brown after he rec'd a text message/voice mail from another female that was sexually explicit. Apparently the songstress (probably too flattering of a title) had his password to his voice mails.
They argued after leaving Clive's party, she smacked him, he pulled over on a residential street in Hollywood in the Hancock Park area enroute to her apartment, the argument was loud attracting the attention of residents, she snatched the keys out of the ignition and threw them out of the window - he got out to retrieve them, couldn't find them, then depending on which version you believe:
she go out, he ordered her back in, he grabbed her; she was choked, threatened that she would be killed, she was socked all about the face with clenched fists, she was bitten, she momentarily lost consciousness, he left scene with car keys on foot - she got back in car screaming

meanwhile residents of June Street in Hancock Park that saw and heard the commotion called 911 - 12;30AM (Remember Clive's party was five miles from where the incident occurred, and they left there just a little past Midnight)
by the time the po-po arrived, Brown was ghost and Fenty was sitting in rented Lamborghini injured.
