I'll just say this, it starred Mario Van Peebles, so you haven't missed anything.

The only good thing about that movie is that it contains a performance of Ice-T and Evil E rapping "Killers", which is quite a rare track. The rest is truly horrible.

I have mixed feelings about 'Krush Groove'.Considering that that it had a bigger budget than the other films and is partly based on the true story of Russell Simmons and his Def Jam empire,it should be a great film. However,it seems like it was hastily thrown together...like they quickly tried to make hip-hop's answer to 'Purple Rain'.There are some cool performance sequences but I think this movie could have been so much better if they had taken more time and came up with a more powerful script.Sheila E. is fun to watch, but her role seems pointless.

It was during a nightclub scene. The DJ guy was playing that song just as his girlfriend (Rae Dawn Chong) was walking onto the dancefloor, with her hands in the air.

You can tell that I've seen this movie a million times, lol lol
